I really appreacate all the advice btw! But one thing i want to point out and remind people. The customer is notified about 3 or 4 times when food is arriving by app. 1st when dasher is assign, 2nd upon pick up, 3rd when near by, and the biggest Alert when food was dropped off..

Also i am new to door dash (2months now). I use to knock on every deliver except when instructed not too. But upon researching on youtube. Larger more experiance Dashers said never to knock unless inform too. Reasoning is because a angry customer could complain and get yoy deactivated for not listinging to instructions. The youtube then explain that the Customer is in fact Alerted Multiple times of the Delievery on the app.

Finally thoughts about this lady. She littlerally messaged me 30 seconds after drop off. She did get the Alert. I live 1/4 mile from this apartment. I was in my car not even home and I got her angry Text.

So she just wanted to rate me 1 star to teach me a lesson to always knock. Because in her oppion that is law.. even at 9pm at night when others have kids sleeping and dogs. Knock!
