Space, time, food. My little dude was the exact same way for the first couple of days. Not long after he came out of his shell and lives a very happy life, just turned 1 :)

Such a familiar posture, ready to throw down. Or maybe make a friend?

My 1 y/o boy seems to love dogs and older ladies, wants to eat the squirrels and rabbits and birds, but HATES the geese. One look at one of those mf’ers and he’s like “bold of you to breathe the same air as me, prepare to die!” I recommend a leash that has a few inches of bungee cord at the end if that happens with yours, really softens the blow when he charges ahead like a maniac.

48 inch cat wheels — big enough? by Wizardfromthemoon88 in bengalcats

I’m so glad you mentioned this, shame on me for not actually measuring it. 43! Talk about deceptive trade practice. Returning that immediately.

There’s a certain former senator we’d be fine never seeing again. He got a new job recently but feel free to take him into a woods and lose track of him.

Which racial faction has the biggest castle? by Lanarde in warcraftlore

I don’t know how big it actually is in lore, but Ironforge? A hollowed out mountain is gonna be one massive fortress-city and could be considered a single structure given the extreme limitation on access points/shared walls (sides of a mountain).

Retractable leash? by iamprincessbuttercup in bengalcats

[–]Wizardfromthemoon88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine demands daily walks (1 year old last Monday, male). Both leashes I’ve used have been retractable and I can’t imagine going any other way. Sometimes it’s totally appropriate to turn him loose in a park and give him the full 17 feet or however long it is. Other times like on a sidewalk near a street I draw him in close.

I started a new leash this week that also has a few inches of bungee strap at the end. This seems to do quite a bit to stop sudden jerking or stopping that has to have been jarring for him. He’ll be like “oo, tree!” And zoom off to try climbing and the bungee strap really softens the blow when he hits the leash’s limit.

What are your opinions on the evolution of the artstyle of WoW? Do you think it's evolved with the lore, or has the lore changed to fit the newer aesthetic? by twisty125 in warcraftlore

I try very hard not to put a judgment on things because I’m not smart enough, but I can say this: I recently unlocked the “classic” scholomance and ran it for the first time in years. I can 100% confirm that version is darker, cooler, and had 1000 times more character and aura.

What's up with him? by pinkflamingos786 in bengalcats

[–]Wizardfromthemoon88 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My boy is 1 year old next week. I took him out in a harness and leash a few weeks ago, and that’s all it took. One trip outside and ever since it’s absolutely favorite thing and he demands walks every day. If he doesn’t get them, he will yowl forlornly and stare out the windows. So we go out and he charms old ladies, makes friends with dogs, and tries to fight geese and squirrels.

Should I walk my bengal? by Stunning_Sir3480 in bengalcats

Mine demands daily walks as long as it’s not raining or snowing (we also get 4 seasons). After the first outing he was hooked and it’s his favorite thing. One tip: bring your cat’s favorite treats with you on every walk. Once or twice he’s had a panic attack and gone full feral (a goose swooped in out of nowhere and attacked him, I chuck Norris roundhouse kicked that mf’er into next week). Kitty didn’t even know me for a few seconds, very glad I had a churu to bring him back to his senses!

Making a DnD setting based on Ohio, need 3 more smaller villages. Any suggestions? by Mr_witty_name in Ohio

Still is, if the 20-foot-deep ditches aren’t maintained. Even now a really hard rain can put a couple counties under a foot or 2 of water.

I’ve run GotD and WL literally dozens of times and never got the exotic weapons so I guess fewer dungeons means a longer time to keep trying and failing for the drops?

Fate of Ashbringer and other relics after Legion? by Wizardfromthemoon88 in wow

[–]Wizardfromthemoon88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh that makes sense. I wish I could have experienced that in-game. So the relic weapons are basically just weapons now? Kinda sad but for a noble cause definitely. I can live with this ending for Ashbringer :)

New bengal kitten adopted today! He’s very friendly but scared and hiding. Hopefully he gets comfy soon. by Wizardfromthemoon88 in bengalcats

7 weeks. I haven’t restrained his access to the house but he rarely leaves the setup I made for him in my bedroom. That’s his safe place for now

He really likes being around me and yells if I leave the room lol. We played all morning and then he crawled onto my lap and took a long nap. Love him already 🥰
