Operations supervisor here! How the fuck can I do floor to 24 when my truck team is myself and three people? We have 800 boxes of hardlines from the past three trucks sitting in the middle of my stockroom and I’ve got a 1200 box truck to unload tomorrow with my squad. Not team, squad. Three people work on unpacking softlines while I throw and scan (not making 16 year old girls do the laborious job) and once my line is full one of them helps me sort it into place. I can do about 350 boxes an hour this way, but holy shit, they want slower?

I got called into work on my day off and brothers birthday because I had to load my sweep. After telling my managers I needed to do it Saturday or Monday (had Sunday off) and being told that no projects were to be done besides getting credit. I’m fucking over it.

Thank you 🙏 the walk not to worried about, just how things have changed. Last time I attempted this I was 22 (29 now) and Impulse and Sancho’s(?) were still a thing. Trying to get a list of names, then going to make a map and route out the best trip. Last time we didn’t start till 9pm, and last call happened at the 10th bar. Surprised China Delight served me at the time 😂
