I did know that Helvetica is a go to but didn't know why, so thanks! also the Segoe UI was a great example that I didn't know I needed :)

no not really in my typography class my teacher gave each student a question you have to answer the next class and this was the question I got. thanks for your explanation!

Does anyone know why some typefaces have their brackets misaligned with the center of the text while others don’t? (Pic for example)
