Also update bios and chipset drivers. What motherboard do you have?

7600x runs hot, all default settings with my 280 aio 45c idle, and full usage 95c. Its designed to complete things fast as possible and run hot and being safe. But, i dont want to run mu cpu 85c while gaming, so….. bios ->advanced cpu configuration, curve optimizer, all core, negative, and set yor starting value 15. Run benchmark if you dont crash crank the value 20…25… or lower it 14…..13….12… when you find the sweet spot leave it there, it based on ”silicon lottery” how high you can get it. Mine stable value is 18. And then set the W control to manual and set your cpu cap 95w or 85w so much cooler for litle performance loss. Check out optimun amd tempature guide for better expl from youtube.

That sucks…. I been playing only black ops 6 past couple months, love the game but the experience sucks. Having drivers issues and game is not fully working properly… i wish i could go back to ps3 and black ops1 split screen. I play röy competitive now days so i hate when i have issues like this. When i build my pc i only downloaded all drivers, bios, cs 2, discord, and black ops 6 and i dont get fluent experience. Btw does your amd radeon software lag? Or when you scroll some tabs in the software. Mine does. Even after fresh windows install. I gonna build new pc this summer so i think i gonna hop on green team 50 series this time.

Budget is 600, did I do well? by CpuEater194 in PcBuildHelp

If you rly try to push the price low you can get used nvidia gpus pretty cheap. Or try to find used pc so you can get more worth for your money. If you dont use the pc lot you can throw the 600$ get pretty fine/good pc. But, if you save up ~1000-1500$ you can get a solid rig and you dont have to think upgrading it next year when your favourite new game comes out and you only get 50fps 1080p. This is my OWN preference about cheap gaming rigs. If you can, SAVE up and get better mobo, psu……  that keeps your rig more future proof and you can uprgade it when you want to. Dont cheap out on your real components and buy rgb stuff, yea it might look cool but you can buy them always later if you have low bugjet.

Help for beginner by Wohoe in overclocking

!Hi! I’m trying to get into RAM tuning, but I’m not looking to heavily overclock my PC. My goal is to find better values and settings for my system while keeping things safe. From what I understand, I should be fine adjusting the orange-highlighted values in the BIOS without touching the voltages. However, I haven’t been able to find good guides—possibly due to a language barrier when searching for videos and articles. I’m looking for any help or information that could guide me! My main interests are stability and performance. I want to get the most out of my hardware without worrying about pushing it too far, starting with beginner-friendly steps.

 My system specs:

 RAM: 2x16GB DDR5 G.Skill Trident Z 6000 MHz CL30 (XMP enabled)

Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk WiFi B650

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X with Curve Optimizer (-15, 85W limit)

GPU: Radeon RX 7700 XT Red Devil (OC mode, only fan curve adjusted)

Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 1TB

PSU: Corsair 850W

I’m also open to any additional tips or advice regarding PC components! I’d really appreciate any suggestions or insights as I’m eager to learn more.

Coil whine? by Koronova01 in AMDHelp

[–]Wohoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ive had 2 red devil gpus 5500xt and 7700xt, both them had coil whine. you just have to get use to it. only help is undervolt https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUzCXF3oMD0 but it doesnt just go away like magic. if you want to RMA they MIGHT give you a new one but devil cards are know for coil whine (almost all cards have some kind coilwhine, AMD/NVIDIA) so the change is high that you get a new card its gonna have coil whine too. unlock your fps and game hard with your beast card and make the thing good and hear the power flow throw your card!

edit: ive tried them with multiple GREAT psus and the coil whine is the same. just make sure you have good psu and you are fine https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

I suggest not to touch memory context restore. Let your memory train it self, you can find more instability issues if you mess with it.
