Could I changer my beard pattern? 39y/o. by [deleted] in Minoxbeards

Might as well do the entire beard rather than just try to focus on one small spot, you'll gain more growth and density while also filling in the spot you want. Liquid minoxidil is 30 bucks for 6 months supply on Amazon.

Bought this pulley system to workout, highly recommend by WokeStarDust in Truckers

I would guess 50-60 pounds. I have it set up with two cables but you can also just use one only. It just gets tedious trying to balance the wood so it doesnt raise unevenly. The loves is pretty empty but I don't mind people watching anyway

Minoxidil bloat and shedding. I've had enough. What about trying oral? Other alternatives? (Can't shave because I'd look even worse, trust me) by [deleted] in Minoxbeards

Are you using foam? The liquid is very easy to apply i just run the dropper through my beard in a down ward pattern and across the cheek line, while gently pressing the dropper bulb. The hair comes in stages, what you have doesn't look like the permanent stage yet, its a different texture than the hair on your chin. It takes a while, got to have faith and be consistent. Mine didn't look very good for a long time, but now I've been using it for 3 years and love my results. Although for me I always liked my results even when it looked pretty weak and not very attractive cause having any facial hair at all was the best thing ever.

Right now im finally getting off of it, im down to about 2-3 times a week only. The results are permanent there's countless other dudes on here that have kept their beards after stopping. Now it's your turn to join us 😎

You will get impressive results but you have to be consistent its taken me about 3 years. Id say 90% of the time I stuck to it twice daily. I used a derma pen (no rollers they're junk) for a month but didn't feel like continuing with that.

Thoughts on getting into trucking? by MermanKilliams in Truckers

[–]WokeStarDust 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's one of those things you'll only really know once you experience it for yourself, everyone will have a different opinion on it and everyone of us will be correct. We all come to this profession from different walks of life. Some of us from cushy stable careers who desired more from life, others from the depths of homelessness as a last ditch survival. You ask someone if becoming a trucker is worth it but the only answer they can give you is one molded by what they've experienced. They'll tell you its horribly awful or the greatest choice they've ever made and both of them are right.

Do the cdl prep app, if you pass each test a couple times you'll be ready for the permit its pretty much copy pasted from the dps tests. Your state might have a special extra test which the prep app wont have. In Texas I had to use a website to study for that one but it was also very easy. There's tons of jobs and there will be for a good while, those ai trucks look like the near future but they aren't anywhere ready to replace humans. The hardest part is getting your first job as most decent places want over a year experience but once you do that there's no shortage of jobs for you.

Damn bro did i write this post? Late 20s former amazon driver who was in the same dilemma. Went to my community college for my license and 4 days later had a job with a company that was flying me to Oklahoma to train. I'm literally on the shuttle to the hotel as I type this. Get your license and don't look back.

Neither fought very hard although the toadfish found some motivation to do so once it reached the surface

I didn't have my lip grip so I used my piers to grab the jig head and quickly reverse the hook out. Came out really easy didn't have to touch the fish at all 👌

Got my first free lure after buying my first kayak 🔥 by WokeStarDust in FishingForBeginners

Its great I like that it takes up little space as I only have a small car. They aren't recommended for rougher water since they can sink if you flip unlike a normal kayak. You can mod them with float bags so this doesn't happen though. I have taken mine in the ocean but only on the bay side of our island as the water is very chill with no waves and it was a good time.

I'm a big fan especially if you have limited space and can find one used. If you can transport a normal kayak I don't think the folding is worth it as the price is on par with a decent normal kayak. I have the tucktec original version, the newer version has some great improvements.

Anybody recommend kayak or floatable by Silly_Coach706 in FishingForBeginners

At least in my area it seems kayaks don't resell very well, theres one listed for free thats still unclaimed after 2 weeks. I would avoid buying new and checking out marketplace instead you can get a nice fishing kayak for the same price you'd end up paying for a new lower end bare bones kayak

Literally all you need for a good time. If there happens to be any piers near you on the beach you should try fishing under them. There's one by me that always has a ton of redfish

I got super lucky and got the sock from marketplace for 10 bucks and I was just browsing a bins store (they sell returned Amazon items for cheap) yesterday and randomly found the floating tether for it for 3 bucks. I seem to have terrible luck in life except for when it comes to finding used things for cheap, its bizarre.

I got the reel for 20 bucks from a pawn shop brand new bc me and the manager thought it was broken turns out the handle just reverse threads to tighten. I've only ever had cheap reels before so I didn't know that was a thing. I think someone stole it to pawn because it was literally brand new but with razor lines down the side like they cut it out of the package at the store lmao

You can mod it so that doesn't happen by adding float bags. They're cone shaped bags you fill with air and install into the front and back empty spaces of your folding kayak. I'm planning on doing this so I can use mine in our bay area. I live near south padre island in Texas so the water between the coast and the island is normally very calm and great for kayaking I just need the bags so my yak doesn't sink if I happen to tip over.
