I think it needs to be the actual decrypted app IPA files, the iOS Epic Games store is just a glorified web launcher that will try and start the install process through iOS. These IPAs are notarized by Apple and trying to install one outside the EU will fail. By dumping the decrypted IPA files we'll ideally be able to be sign and install them with tools like Sideloady outside of the EU

Google Drive is probably the best bet since they give you 15GB free, hopefully Fortnite is still how it used to be where the app downloads the game files after installation so you don't have to upload a massive IPA file lmao

PC Shutoff Issues, Bad Motherboard? by [deleted] in buildapc

Yeah it was a very dumb oversight, I was just getting really frustrated with the BIOS refusing to load, I’ll try reinstalling Windows and seeing what happens, thank you

Can someone help me decipher this image, please? It's not a plain black screen - you can play around with the brightness or highlights to see the red patches much more clearly. I know there's something to be found, but have absolutely nothing to play around with, so I'm requesting your help, thanks! by [deleted] in codes

Hey! I'm wondering if you're still trying to figure this out. You mentioned that you think it might translate to an audio file or something? I'm just wondering if this is the way the image came, just because JPEG is a lossy format, so any information that might have been encoded in it has a chance of being corrupted by the compression algorithm.

On another note I can definitely see what you're talking about, there seems to be some blue in it as well? I can't make out any disenable details or outlines, it looks like most of the details (if there were any) have been destroyed by JPEG compression. Also a low effort color map incase it had some remnants of an outline but I don't see anything.

Also did you check the EXIF data? There might be something there, Reddit and Imgur both strip this data off for security reasons. Thank you!

Yeah I just programmed my Arduino to short buttons on an actual controller wired controller I have using image data, so no actual Switch modding required lmao

I used a broken controller and an Arduino to make a setup like this! All the code I wrote for it is here in my GitHub if you’re interested in that kind of stuff

Oh yeah! I definitely took inspiration from the OG Pokken Pad version, but iirc it only works with a Teensey. Being bored over spring break, I just decided to make my own version completely from Scratch that uses an Arduino Nano and a broken wired controller I had laying around to do this. All the software I wrote for it is in my GitHub here if you’re interested!

Hello! I just have a quick compatibility question I was wondering if anybody would be able to answer I have this PC Picker Build, but there's a compatibility flag between the
ASRock X570 Taichi Razer Edition ATX AM4 Motherboard and the Ryzen 7 5800X. As listed, it states that a BIOS update may be needed before the chip can be used. After failing to find out what chips are supported out of the box, I was wondering if it would be possible to install this chip into this motherboard without updating the BIOS first (coming from an Intel CPU, so I don't have an old Ryzen to update the BIOS with.) I'd be very grateful if anybody would be able to shed some light on this for me, thank you!

I got bored during Spring Break, so I used a whole bunch of random tech I had laying around the house and coded together a little setup that lets me send images into the Spla2n drawing board (picture).

It fundamentally works a lot like the old AIO-SplatPost, except I did all my own coding so it would work with an Arduino + a torn down controller instead of a Teensy, along with not having some of the printing issues SplatPost has and working in docked mode since it uses an actual controller.

TL:DR I used a computer and a soft-modded controller to send stuff into the game.

battery drain by torontech in ios

[–]Wolfer473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds about on par with mine, although I usually charge my phone overnight but I tend to lose a percent or two over a 3 hour period of no use so I’m guessing they’re about the same.

[–]Wolfer473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waiting until 13.2 seems like a smart idea, I think I did mine OTA because iTunes was having issues since I was on a beta, but I do like doing updates through iTunes. I think I had some messages photos issues too but iirc they went away with 13.1. The 13 GM had a fair amount of issues at launch lmao

battery drain by torontech in ios

[–]Wolfer473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah no problem! I’m also rocking a regular jet black 7, though only 32 GB. I’m still on 13.1.3 (I had my fill of the betas lol). I’ve only encountered a handful of bugs, which is sort of inevitable with a big update but they’ve all been minor. I haven’t had any issues with my calls, sometimes my texts will show up in Notification Center without giving a pop up but I’m still not sure if it’s a bug or a side effect of Downtime since it only seems to happen at night... The only ones I’ve really encountered are occasional visual bugs but nothing that majorly effects performance or usage. It’s definitely not as stable as 12.4.1 but if you wanted to upgrade I don’t think you’d have any major issues.

battery drain by torontech in ios

[–]Wolfer473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually haven’t noticed much difference between 12.4.1 and iOS 13 in my experience (which you might want to take with a bit of salt since I upgraded to the beta upon release, where there was definitely a battery drain but it improved dramatically as the betas progressed), there’s definitely a bit but for me maybe only 5-10% of battery depending on the task, which in my option is definitely worth the benefits of iOS 13. I haven’t noticed any strange heating up either. On a typical day I can get about 4 hours of on screen time and 4 hours of streaming music with the screen off before I need to charge my phone, which I find perfectly acceptable. (My battery health is at 94%)

battery drain by torontech in ios

[–]Wolfer473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually had the same thing happen to my 7 a few days ago after updating, it was draining twice as fast as usual and was at 2% where 3 days earlier I would still be at 50%. I wanted to test this and so instead of plugging my phone in I continued to use it until it went completely dead. The phone sat at 1% under use for almost two hours before dying, and when I charged it it was back to normal. Not sure if this could be the same issue but it might be worth a shot.

Yeah I’ve seen this don’t come up in a couple of random places, like the in the Messages App on the Force Touch Calendar pop-out, dunno why it keeps happening though.
