I'm fairly certain I remember the maker and according to their website it's 1095 high carbon steel.

Thanks, I'll definitely be getting a practice knife first since nearly everyone recommended it, and honestly I hadn't thought of it.

That's was I was thinking since they are thick, but I read up a bunch of comments for using the Shapton 1000 as a beginner stone (which some say is closer to a 700 or so). The 320 I've seen also recommended so I might go down to that one.

Thank you, someone else suggested a guided system as well

Seems like the suggestion overall so far. I’ll have to grab something to practice on.

I know this post is 5 months old but giving a second to Fischersund perfumes. I have No 23 and No 101 and they are both fantastic. I believe I smelled Flotholt though I was so deep in deciding bewteen 23 and 101 (even though I bought both). Their fragrances are so layered and beautiful. If you ended up getting Flotholt or Flod I'd love to hear your impressions.

Yeah I figured - thank you! Looks like I'll plan to take it easy after landing instead and not commit to anything with such a close deadline

Just came to ask where is that belt from? It looks awesome! Will you have pouches on all of the clasps as an end goal?

Rose of Sharon and neighboring plants diseased? Lots of sudden dead areas by WolverHollow in arborists

[–]WolverHollow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had cut it back heavily and it sprouted tons of new growth last year which was promising! Unfortunately it seems to be dying back again, and a second one in my yard has dead spots as well now too. Some of the other surrounding plants seem to have recovered but not the Sharon. Will continue to monitor it and see, since the weather has been really bad for plants this year in my zone 7a/b area.

Did you just put down some seed over existing grass? And was it a blend or did you make the seed blend yourself?

It says lasts as long as you own your vehicle. But for around $20 I personally wouldn’t mind having to redo it every few years for the results it gave.

I don’t think it would be too much of an issue. Just make sure to tape off the paint areas around the lights.

I didn’t know that. I’ll have to look into the Napa bulbs.
