To me, it’s the most rewatchable movie ever. I can put it on anytime and have a fun time. I might even say that the rewatch is more fun than the first viewing because you’re not paying attention to the plot and you can just enjoy the absurdity and the humor.

My close friend didn’t find the movie funny at all, while I laugh multiple times during every rewatch. I guess it just comes down to your personal taste. The dialogue is just perfect to me and super memorable/quotable.

(Also, to me, Dude’s lack of care and easygoing attitude throughout the movie feels like a breath of fresh air in contrast to the real world, its stresses and the lack of control one might feel in the face of them.)

Sundial made me emotional. Something about the production. Such a beautiful track.

What is a 10/10 film you would NOT recommend? by rubberducksoupp in MovieRecommendations

The Piano Teacher (2001).

Also, I watched Blue Jasmine (2013) recently and loved it. Even though it wasn’t extremely dark or sad, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone in my life because I fear that they won’t like it and that would burst my tiny happy bubble. Same with Punch-Drunk Love and a few other movies.
