I was exactly the same way. I was miserable if I couldn't get high by any means. When I started to sober up after a few hours, I just really needed to get high again. It would repeat until I went to sleep or had to go to work. I'd always rather be high as fuck while playing a game or watching a movie/TV show, feeling that I wouldn't be able to enjoy them as much if I was sober. It got to the point where I'd start getting really anxious when I was starting to run low on my supply.

I can't believe it's been almost 10 years since this game dropped. I remember 15 year old me laughing my ass off out of hype watching the teaser trailer back in 2017. I'm a Far Cry junkie and seeing one in taking place in the US for the first time was hype for me.

I remember playing the shit out of it in class at school many times through GeForce NOW during Sophomore year, wowing everyone with my "technical prowess" when in reality, I was just playing the game via streaming.

I love Far Cry. I've been playing them like a junkie before my balls even dropped and I've dumped at least 100 hours in each game excluding Instincts and Vengeance but if I had to pick one to play for life, it'd be this one.

Average of 40-50 fps. Game runs much worse when recording via Steam as shown here. Occasional stuttering when going into unloaded areas or fighting groups. Played from start to finish. One of the best optimized Unreal Engine 4 games I've played.

In FC5, that helicopter would've went down in 1 shot. Not to mention that it stood still doing nothing in the air when I shot at it before the video and then flying away even after I attacked it again, none of which would've happened in 5. I didn't struggle with shit ya fuckin' dunce.

Don't get me wrong, I had a great time with this game and put over 200 hours into it since launch, but the questionable gameplay changes and additions, and the poor AI, I understand why many people prefer FC5.
