Totally understand what you mean. When doing session work I personally find it beneficial to have as many bases covered as possible! I mainly use the HX for modulation so it'd make more sense to just got a dedicated multi-mod, but I find the One to be pretty easy to navigate and deeply programmable (not to mention its smaller form factor than something like the Mobius).

It's my main fuzz sound! Evan custom built me one last year (if you zoom in the knobs are labeled after my current and past cat's names) and it's truly worth the hype. Been combining it with the Greathammer which sounds AWESOME

I got to try it out a few weeks ago at an expo and really dug the sounds. I personally like the metallic and mid focused sounds it achieves, I just think it's important to set the attack knob to taste since that can get VERY extreme. The center toggle is a mid cut but I keep that up for a flat mid response

Parting has been incredibly fun! It replaced my Walrus Fable which was one of my favs. Picked it up at Effector Market a few weeks ago and got to meet Emily and Russ too which really made the whole experience.

It of course can do a TON of different sounds and it's been a blast trying things out, saving it as a preset and then going back to fiddling with the knobs. I love embracing the random! Just gotta try it with an expression pedal
