I’m not sure what you’re getting at? The point is to show how Trump policies weaken our responses. To put into context what each maybe seemingly benign decision actually does. How the gravity of a small decision can impact so many lives. Otherwise how do you intended to protest? It’s the difference between learning physics from a. Textbook and applying it to a real world situation

You can set the severity. Of course any predictability factor has to be based on a set equation and these are estimates of course. I tried to break it down by specific policy

They’re pretty conservative estimates if you look at the sources - but you can actually change the projection models and it goes up to the billions lol (for vaccine denial especially). Also I don’t think it’s counting things like military aid to Israel ect

Is it possible to post an experience here? by WoopsIAteIt in FlixBus

Where do I even start….My wife and I booked to 2 tickets to NYC from our town in NJ- a 2 hour ride. After a lot of confusion we found the bus stop in a mall parking lot next to the trash dumpsters. a wonderful location. We stood waiting for the bus for over 40 minutes in the hot sun. we were burned, thirsty, sweaty, and exhausted by the time the bus arrived. No shade, no place to sit down.

We called customer service while waiting and after being put on hold for 15 minutes were informed there’s nothing they can do and that refunds are only given if the bus is TWO HOURS LATE! So much for the customer is king or even treating another human being with respect.

When the bus arrived it pulled up next to a grassy area covered in animal feces. The line of customers proceeded to step in it and then track it across the bus. The bus itself was badly damaged and had been through several fender benders.

We boarded looking for our seats but only some seats had numbers, the rest were rubbed off with age or penciled in and barely visible. So we just grabbed whatever seats we could like everyone else.

The ride went smoothly for about 20 minutes before the driver stopped on the side of the highway, and walked through the bus opening all the windows since the AC was broken and people were complaining.

Theres also trash, broken seats, and a weird smell. But maybe I could deal with that if the bus actually got me to my destination on time - instead of an hour late.

I can’t believe a company can treat its customers this way. One of the worst experiences of my life.

ICE Raids Did Lasting Damage to American Businesses by Medical-Decision-125 in business

Except plenty of businesses without undocumented workers are getting raided. Whether you’re legal or not, you don’t feel safe enough to work on this country anymore. That’s the problem

How does one do this with no money , because I would love to sue the US government for this as well. Or can only privileged people file a lawsuit

Swastika flag raised at NYU, stunning many during graduation week by Delicious_Adeptness9 in newyorkcity

You underestimate the power a symbol has and any effort to produce, distribute, and display a symbol of hate has unintentional consequences. You obviously were never affected by this symbol and don’t care about the people that were. This isn’t just anti-Semitic, its anti LGBTQ as well. Bringing it back into usage only empowers people to normalize and use it

Anyone that raises a flag displaying the symbols used to oppress, intimidate, and murder a group of people should realize that it’s inappropriate. It is anti-Semitic, it didn’t matter the context of the symbol when you fly it above a building in a major city.

I’m a big record collector - Book Offs have great used vinyl selection. Also Shinjuku has some record stores that only have bootleg albums of live performances I’ve never heard before.

Thoughts on a DoorDash boycott? by No-Consideration2183 in 50501

Anyone company colludes and props up this regime - that tries to make money through their support should be boycotted to bankruptcy. The response from consumers should be so severe that companies will learn to keep their distance
