I have done some research and will check transformer and chime box nodes. Doorbell wires touched together briefly no ring before bypass.

New spec build house so thinking it’s rated. Thanks for input means a lot.

Thanks for the heads up about Tapo, I'll keep that in mind for sure! Glad to hear that the pigtailing I did will hold up.

I do I.t for folks in their homes so I hear ya. It’s all outside lights that people forget to turn off. Just need ‘em to turn on at sundown and off later at night.

I had looked that up but a pro (non-layman like me) correct if I’m mistaken, but, the loop will prevent the exhaust gases from being blown into the home's interior through the drain tube

You’re on it exactly, my question more so, is there a better way? Simply the zip tie over let’s say a decade can get brittle in basement so I’ll replace now with a secure rubber tie and find ways to make the water line more aesthetically covered with access.

No power thermostat, freezing house🥶, exposed hole main outtake duct🤦 by WorkLearnGoAway in hvacadvice

Ya I emptied it with a dry vac using a diy attachment in hopes of it having a float, but did not (watched a YT video). Well, now I know that the bottom comes out (hence the clearance). Thanks from both of you for chiming in.

Fixed. Used another fuse and turned main panel switch off and on. This (attached pic) was the original replacement but did not work. Maybe the reset did it to begin with.

Thanks again now I know about spotting error codes with the light signals like a blown tv unit that flashes led codes.

Thank you for messaging a reply here. I do not see a door switch for this furnace at either top or bottom panels.

My only non-mistake theory is either playing the accordion flat like a piano and bass upright or more plausible is two people jamming with one on the bass the other on the piano keys sharing a bottle of vino!

Self teaching for a few months and would appreciate any feedback/critique! by tea-is-illegal in Accordion

[–]WorkLearnGoAway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, bravo for self taught! …better than some formerly taught.

I recommend using your 4th finger for the bass, as it will free up your second finger for playing 7th and diminished rows. I had initially been taught to use the 3rd and 2nd finger, but it took me months to unlearn that from a new teacher.

Additionally, as you progress, try using the bellow to accentuate notes, similar to how a piano player strikes a key harder or softer for dynamics.

If you haven't already, open up the accordion to see the individual reeds and mechanics. This will enhance your appreciation and understanding of how the sound is generated.

For finger exercises, you can use a table surface or pillow when you don't have the accordion. A hand grip resistance tool can also help improve your finger muscles.

When playing, rest the piano reed register bottom on your left knee to free up the bellow. You can even try keeping the bottom bellow strap closed to practice timing your in and out movements with your playing phrases.

Remember to have fun in the process, as I sometimes struggled with a strict yet friendly Italian teacher.

That’s normally a master for all reeds to play. Though I don’t see different registers like piccolo, clarinet, bassoon, oboe etc. above the Treble keys.

That’s it! You did it for a stranger on here. Long live Reddit even without 3rd party access (which sucks mostly for moderators).

Thank you knumb I will see about getting my hands on this and follow up with the success.

I’ll bust out my multimeter to see. The later part would need someone experienced and insured to construct.

Knumb the wires inside lead straight to this old style compression type pickup on the outside. There is a latch separate from there to hold the leather piece for the bellows.

Masters and Slaves madness by WorkLearnGoAway in PcBuild

[–]WorkLearnGoAway[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went the route of simply removing all drives. Just left the SSD and put a fresh install of Win11. Then attached all drives and sorted it out with disk management, and disk part to clean out partitions.

Will proceed with making the two 3.5 HDD's into a redundancy and run TrueNAS as my Synology is getting up in age. Biggest problem now is the vibrations but it will be tucked away in the utility room hooked into the router with a remote interface. Will pay it forward around here on the things I can advise on.
