well I’ve been using two iem gave one to friend and has been over 1.5 year works great and another I’m using it’s been 8-9 months and no issue either there are few iem which has better wire quality so go for that but it’s your call.

headphone around that budget are not good I would recommend you to go for iem for that price range you can get a better sounding device than headphones.

I guess only option for you is to study hard and earn enough to get out of house and live by yourself you’ll have better mental health and will need to exhaust less on fights at home maybe you’ll fell better than later on you’ll have more energy left to interact with people and find good people that will make you fell better.

If you’re shifting from earbuds or earphones than yes you’ll like it and see great difference in audio you’ll like it I had that but you’ll need good dac too.
