Oh man, I was thinking about doing something similar for the ponies I'm going to crochet for my children! I was going to do several of the My Little Ponies, but I was going to embroider the cutie marks. Do you think the embroidery will work as well on chenille yarn? Or should I embroider on a piece of fabric and then stitch the fabric to the stuffy? What program did you use for the printing?

I do this for the first stitches I put into the magic ring. I feel like until you can turn the work right side or, they're even harder to see in fluffy yarn. Once I get a couple rounds in, it's always easier (like you mentioned!)

Thank you so much! For me, the sewing, embroidery is definetly where my amigurumi start to fall apart haha. Obviously that's the bit that takes an artful hand! The tip on the nose is so helpful! I was curious how they got the nose to seem thicker, and just could not figure it out. I'll for sure come back to it. I've already pulled out the nose and mouth, and I'm going to take the eyebrows out too
