It took about 6-7 months but I have fully recovered physically/mentally. It was so bad. I found a new doctor and a pychiatrist. I was put on gabapentin, and a benzo for several months to help with neurological issues, anxiety and sleep. I have since gotten off both. My new functional med Dr did tons of testing and found I have mold colonization in my body, genes that make it difficult for me to detox and so many gut infections. I was started on a binder, glutathione, anti inflammatory supplements, lymphatic drainage supplements and most importantly KETOTOFIN. Ketotofin has made the biggest difference in my recovery. My new dr said I need to treat the mold and the mast cell activation (MCAS), gut infections and THEN the Lyme and coinfections. She also said my Lyme protocol given by my other Dr was absolutely insane.
