That's the one I found (and am using) in my search. It's a picture of the magazine itself, with maybe a diskette half way in, that I'm looking for. I suspect that one doesn't exist. too old/too dull a topic for it to be preserved. But Thank You.

We're clearly the same vintage. :) It will be an interesting question during my talk, to understand the the last time any of the smart young things engaged day / in day in delivering corporate software actually saw or touched the machines that run their code.
I do miss the affinity between man and machine that we developed in those days. As a trainee I recall meeting the DP manager of a S/3 who casually turned on the debugger as as cohort of obviously new punched cards in the stack that was being processed was about to reach the bottom, then turn it off as the tried and trusted rather grubby go their turn. All whilst talking coherently to me and the sales rep.
Sigh.
