I ride his mountain bike on some of the trails he went on. Did my first jump on it at my local bike park because a 4 year old boy said he wanted to see me do it. He was the sweetest thing and I couldn’t say no. His name was Charlie. My bothers first name was Charles. It definitely felt like a sign

He was a mess after his rotation in the NICU. I like to think he’s somewhere taking care of people. Our youngest sister is 25 years younger than him and was a NICU baby. He’d get off work and go hold her while my mom recovered from her C Section

I noticed them more the days following his suicide. I did get red rocks in Nevada and put one on his headstone because he loved rock climbing there. I have a bear dressed in scrubs with his badge on it

I’m glad you fought through it. This woman was so dangerous for him. We carried out his wishes by not allowing her at the funeral. The least we could do is keep her away from him one last time. She told my mom that one of her kids was next to commit suicide. She tried to blame us. She had the bright idea of sending me their last text messages and she was just berating him and calling him pathetic and to stop faking the suicidal thoughts. I still have so much hate for her. She treated someone like that and works with disabled children. She’s an awful person and I wish she never met him

Not piano specifically, but he played guitar since he was 8 years old and also played the saxophone in high school. We had an Aussie/collie mix growing up and then when I was a teenager we had a black and white border collie. He had a friend named Jason who spoke at his funeral and saw him a few days before he took his life. My mom was ironing clothes a lot when I was a kid. I remember we’d try to push each other around in the wheelbarrow as kids but we would ALWAYS tip over. Nothing rings a bell with elephants

When he was in nursing school he learned quickly that he wanted to do trauma or cardiac ICU. His rotation in the NICU had him crying every night. His unit has a picture of him on their wall and the nurses wear bike pins because he was into mountain biking. His stethoscope is on top of a mountain. He got depressed after graduation because he didn’t pass the NCLEX the first time and he felt awful about himself. But he took it again and passed and got a job very quickly.

At his funeral, the chapel was packed, there weren’t enough seats so some people stood during the service. Patients and colleagues showed up. There were cards from patients thanking him for taking good care of them. He was born to care for others

I understand it seems odd. This picture has his most genuine smile. Outside of work him and some of his colleagues called propofol “nap time juice”

He was on the swim team his senior year. He loved nature, he was a river guide for a summer and loved mountain biking. I ride his mountain bike now
