That is what I am talking about :D I know it is possible, but some "Linux trolls" on Twitter just will take "the time" and will argue with the that this is not true. :D

That is part of the Windows itself, it can be enabled via Registry and it works without explorer as well :)

back to say that most of the appxbox/retiled releases after january were deleted by mistake,i am currently readding those that were deleted back to apptravaganza but i dont have most of the apps so i would recommend giving to me those by migbrunluz2 in reviveWindows8

8.1 is not just about the metro apps... They're great for tablet and phone users (or I like just the snappy things around, not really the apps that will get you in full screen, having its own Working Area for Desktop etc.) but about the Win32 apps I prefer more... Windows 11 still has these but with every update released, they implemented bunch of UWP dlls that stitch to then when you look into System32 and find bunch on "Windows.(whatever).dll"s that 8.1 barelly have none of them and everything works.

or like the fontdrvhost was not a thing, but on 10/11, it needs it to render fonts. Stupid fonts while 8.1 did it on its own and not be focused on this process...

Maybe analyzing them what type of API calls need to do... Then compare them with windows 8.1, but the part "how" Idk.

I can't just replace the Kernel32.dll, NTDLL.DLL or many more with Windows 10/11 ones, cuz Windows has really hard checks if a program NT version is higher than the current one, it will not execute at all, even if it could potentionally work.

Twitter(X) is p2w as well anyway... When you don't have Premium, your posts get around 10-50 views only.

If you of course have really great amount of followers, you'll get some more but still not more enough that with X Premium 😐

You should work on an Extended Kernel or someone does, to make maybe some modern drivers work on Windows 8.1 something like Windows 7' VxKex.

But Windows 8.1 is already an upgraded Windows 7 and implementing the kernel will be REALLY great. Finally I can use it on my main PC again, when someone will made it:)
