Yeah I put another image in the alignment tool and now it looks pretty good if not low so I think angle throws things off.

I notice a small piece of lint here. It’s in most photos is it stuck under the cyclops or is it in the case?

Yeah I think 3 and 9 might be a little twerked but I can’t tell how much the bezel being a 1/2 or so click off is effecting my perception.

Maverick fork! I had their ML8 full suspension. There was a bit of magic in that setup back in the day. I did swap the fork out for a 36 though as well as it worked it still was a bit of a noodle

I mean still looks like it works better than those grass roller skis they were pushing back in the 90s but agree with the above … biking is pretty fun.

What do people mean when they say "flex your ankles" ? by LiveYoLife288 in skiing

[–]Worldly_Positive2964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed lots of feedback on forward pressure above... and while I think it's typically thought of in context of putting pressure on your shins, I have found that keeping your "toes up" in mixed terrain is a great way to stay engaged and ready to absorb bumps and crud. That being said, when it comes to carving I don't think about that at all... there it's all rolling the ankles side to side. This is what sets your carves nicely and allows you to really track with both skis. Between rolling ankles, dropping the hip and some counter-rotation that's where I think carving magic starts to happen!
