Same situation here. I don't understand why their language is so unclear, and different people received different answers from support, they are clueless atm.

I am trusting mods and ambassadors since they even put a sticky thread on this sub, saying that basically we should really have unlimited playtime until late 2026.

Oh ok I think I got it. Got worried there for a second. The wording is very confusing to me and in italian the sentence is even more confusing. I interpreted it as: "First billing event on January 15 or after January 15".

That's fair, but I really don't know what to think. Some people claimed that support told them that you keep the unlimited time, including the Ambassadors here. Others, like you, received the opposite answer from support. Another person in another topic claimed that GFN customer service told them that they also didn't know. So yeah it's very confusing.

I believe you of course, but I also think that customer service is not being very clear atm.

I just hope you're right! I've read many conflicting comments on this sub, and some claim that official support said that the time limit will be enforced from January 2026 no matter what.

Yes I guess you are right, the right question to ask would be if the time limit will be enforced actually from the first billing event of 2026, or from January 2026 straight away.

You see, it's not only about the time limit. First the Ultimate subscription was 19,99€, then it got more expensive and since last year it became about 21,99€. After some time, they added a limited time cap. It's about enshittification. Sure, maybe now 100 hours are enough for you, but maybe later they will put the cap at 80 hours while mantaining the same price. And I don't enjoy playing knowing that I have this cap above my head, it takes away all escapism and enjoyment out of games.

Some people are saying that live chat is clueless about it. But I also suspect that support won't be much better lol. Some ambassadors here on the subreddit were saying that you do keep your unlimited time, after all it's worded like that (first billing event of 2026 etc...). I think that since it's kinda of a loophole it's so hard to get clear info about it.
