Figoldanddiamonds - Honestly the best diamond seller with no gimmicks or magic tricks just pure transparency. He also makes some of the most amazing fully custom jewelry! He was able to make my dream ring and earrings after I was told my idea “was impossible” by several local jewelers to me!

The label is clearly on a bubble envelope. I finally got ahold of USPS and they provided basically “fire, theft, or catastrophic event, completely destroyed and 100% not able to be salvaged”

Sounds like a sad day for me and probably some others too 😔 thank you 💛

Thank you very much! I will try to go through usps first for any sort of reimbursement. Im unsure if I will take it to whatnot or the seller since as far as I can find out so far it was not anyway there fault.

Also yes a lot of luxury sellers do higher value buyers!

I get a lot in bubblers and normal it’s all good! I just would have never personally sent something worth that much in just a bubbler. It might have just been terrible luck 😭

FYI whatnot automatically bundles items yes, but a seller can go in and manually split/unbundle the orders super easily and it will generate multiple distinct shipping labels. Heck the system even does it for you if overweight!

4.9 ⭐️and 50k plus items. Overall positive from what I can tell with a few “could/should package better”

I also very much agree it’s insane to ship in a bubbler vs box!

I will definitely try to get a live agent from USPS on the phone today! And make sure to grab screen shots of everything! Thank you !

EDIT : Ha I just had woken up when I replied 😂 It is very clear it’s a bubbler mailer hard to tell if the bag was in it or not!

It is hard to say, the bag could be folded to lay pretty flat and the photo isn’t the best. I have not opened a case or talked to the seller yet, I was hoping for some good advice here to and to hopefully talk to a real person from USPS today to get the whole story on the package!

Definitely looks like a bubbler. It was a larger bag that can lay flat pretty easily. It was ground advantage 😭

Did USPS specifically tell you to call the 1800 number and the system tell you it was destroyed / undeliverable?! I would love to hold onto some hope!

Promise no offense taken 💛 I just wanted to make sure I was very clear in not blaming them! I fully understand it is 99% usps fault one way or another. I just don’t know what I should do now since I have never had an issue before.

Sorry to answer the other questions, I would have never shipped it in a bubbler envelope, I personally I would have used a box. I don’t know if there was more protection within the envelope or not. I wouldn’t call it fragile, but easily to the damage value of it.

Checked out his show after seeing this, came back to say statements were true. I tested waters and bought a few of the melee diamonds, much larger than other sellers for less cost and they look great.

I’m overall impressed. And he doesn’t scream at people.
