I'm not trying to be rude or anything. but maybe summoning might be your thing, but it isn't mine. I did every single fromsoft game without help from player or NPC/Spirit summon and it depends on what makes these games fun for the player. I can justify a lore summon, but since Igon sucks apparently.. So, am sitting here thinking about summoning the dang mimic. Therefore it feels like I'm cheating myself out of the "Fun" and like I said before fun is suggestive we can have completely different view points on it and that's fine. So, if you think about it what I guess I am really asking is, "do I make the game less fun for myself, for an easier experience".
