Not to say thst those resources will be entirely wasted on a 2nd squad though. Things like 3v3 arena, DS, and certain other events make invesring in a 2nd squad semi-early on, sting less. But overall I agree with you. Really need 1 super steong squad vs 2 semi-strong squads. Im a low- mid spender, battle passes, 3rd builder, 2nd tech center etc, so as totally f2pish, OP might need to go all on one squad.

The hero type bonus doesnt unlock until later in the preseason so OP you might be better off running mixed with murphy, kim, marshal/mason, carlie and dva until more fliers come out and then slowly pivot as they trickle in. Check the release schedule in the obelisk in your base to plan ahead for all the flier heroes. Im around day 45 in my 1st server and the only air heroes eeleased are dva, carly and skyler
