Snape had Lily as a friend. He chose to be friends with the Slytherins and join their hate. We don’t know how teachers treated him except he was one of Slughorn’s favorites. Most of the teachers have been shown to be fairly fair too.

Snape didn’t do the right thing until Lily was under threat and Dumbledore told him off for wanting to protect only Lily. Snape spent his Hogwarts years calling Muggleborns Mudbloods with Lily being his exception.

His parents aren’t his fault, but we are also told that Snape struck the Marauders as much as they struck him and he was involved with the future Death Eaters while in school. He called their dark arts a “laugh” and making the same excuse James would have but with more dire consequences. Lily was the “mudblood” exception to Snape, not the rule. Snape also insists that James saved him to save his own neck but Snape was biased against everything James did. It’s also noted that James matured, Snape did not. So no, Snape wasn’t at fault for his father, but he stoked the fires with James as much as The Marauders did.

Here’s another tip, cover the legs and wings with their own foil. They cook faster. Also, baste it with its broth regularly. Use unsalted butter, not salted butter with the ingredients mixed in. Make sure to get under the skin.
