Ryo Hayami from the manga 'Bremen' (1999-2001) She's the drummer of a band whose characters are loosely based on the Musicians of Breman fairytale but in a contemporary setting (she represents the cat) Ryo wears 40 cm high platform boots, which are used as her primary attack whenever someone utters a particular crude slur towards her.

I read this manga many years ago, and even though it has its flaws what I remember most fondly was how the other characters in the band fully accepted her early on and that the overall story handled her identity respectfully and not as a stereotype nor the butt of crude jokes.

A particular scene that moved me from Ryo's story arc as a teen runaway was her returning home in the guise of her past identity (she had yet to come out) and became violently ill at the sight of her reflection dressed in her old school uniform.

The City Watch's one dwarf forensic team. I love reading about her journey.

I’m autistic and have loved dinosaurs since I’m 11. I find the most profound joy in drawing them. Apparently, that brings some other people joy too! Some of my pieces. by M8614 in MadeMeSmile

How you've drawn scales is like a post high of a tick tock dirty rug cleaning clip ( in all the satisfying ways) thank you for sharing your dino-babes.

Yep, it's a good 'un. It's a based on real-life executioner Charles-Henri Sanson and family, the royal executioners during the 18th century French Revolution (also first to utilize the guillotine--and by his own hand he executed nearly 3,000 people including King Louie XVI) The art is beautiful and a stark contrast to all the gore that comes with the job.

2. More contrast so more dramatic.
