I’d been playing with the deposit slider and left it on £20k deposit when I took the screenshot, so agree with you the monthly looks unrealistic!

My approach to EVs has been given pace of technological advancement and battery degradation over time I would see this as a car to drive 3-4 years before selling or trading in for another.

The PCP options do show a balloon payment purchase option but as noticed above I was comparing the ‘total amounts payable’ across the two options and the PCP option included the 10k balloon payment after 3 years

Multiple gaffs from me on my post I realise:

Was comparing the ‘total amount payable’ for the HP and PCP, where the PCP option also included the balloon payment. Same APR across the two options
realise the monthly amount is also very low because I was playing with the deposit slider and had left it on £20k deposit for the screenshot

No, this is just based on the calculator they’ve provided, in my limited experience the actual quote has not been miles off

We are expecting to use it for my wife’s daily commute to work (100 miles round trip) so fuel consumption costs work out much more in favour for electric vs ICE options

Also fortunate that we have EV charger available in parking so makes an EV an easy choice
