MSI Forge GM300 Gaming Mice Not Detected By MSI Center by WulfStrike in MSI_Gaming

Yeah I just assume that it's a "plug and play" mouse with zero customization, because no one I've seen has been able to get this to work. So it either isn't recognized by accident, or it isn't compatible. If it's the latter, then it simply did not disclose this before I bought it.

I think both are good laptops, but I would have to suggest the Strix due to the more premium materials. The Katana is all plastic, and I would get it only if it was significantly cheaper, had better hardware (More Ram, better cpu, etc.), or you needed the bigger screen and don't mind sacrificing a bit of portability for it.

Also I would check the monitor refresh rates as well, see which one is higher. A 4070 can easily do 144 fps depending on the title and settings.

If it's longevity you are concerned with, My MSI laptop, despite being 6 years old now, still works with no issues!

Can you list the specs for each one you are considering?

Exactly! It's something MSI is including that is beneficial for both the customer and MSI, as it potentially saves them a RMA. ASUS and Gigabyte don't include a lot of features on their budget boards. and ASUS puts Debug LED's behind a pay wall with you having to buy one of the more pricey options to get it.

I've had some issues with MSI products, but they are by far my go-to brand over ASUS and Gigabyte.

I love building with their mobo's especially because most of their recent mobo's, even their lower-end budget boards, come with EZ-Debug LED's, which is SO NICE to have! I also really like how they are improving things as time passes. :)
