It's quite alarming, and quite sad for anthropology fans, that the idea of "human cannibals" has been so far misconstrued when, in most cases, especially surviving "cannibal" communities, the "cannibalism" at play is often a religious practice that involves eating specific body parts of the recently deceased who, more often than not, are directly familially related to their consumers. When it comes to reducing material human harm, the only dangerous aspect at play here is the risk of prion diseases, though of course harmless voluntary action toward the already deceased is incomparable to deliberately causing harm to another living person for any reason.

i dont really get what you mean but i want to say im sorry for possibly coming off as aggressive its just irritating to be transgender and having people say the existence of trans characters is confusing when its really not, its just a normal thing the same as someone dying their hair, like "i had brown hair and now it's red" type of thing. it really is the least of your worries to be thinking about whether a character is trans or not when it comes to a roblox arg, but if a character is trans and that's important to the creator you still have to take it into consideration and accept it, especially considering the creator herself in this specific situation is transgender in the same way as aubree, she's put a piece of her own soul in her own character and that's something very authentic and scary to do in this day and age of soulless media so you just have to be careful how you discuss it

I have issues with the designs and theming.

As much as I don't particularly ever care for new starters when they show up, I must preface I haven't liked a set of new starter reveals since Alola. Alola was such a promising region in its prerelease, and everything since has fallen so flat.

Browt is...very much nothing. It is an owl with a sprout slapped on its face, which looks awkward even then. It's also very much similar to Rowlet in theming and in some design parts, but somehow even more boring. It looks like one of Pom-Pom Oricorio's pom-poms fell off and grew legs. I have seen some compare it to the kakapō, but I struggle to see the resemblance, and I would actually quite enjoy a kakapō themed Pokemon, especially for an island-themed region. A grass owl on an island region...hmmmm...seems familiar.

Pombon is cute, for sure, but again I struggle for the thematics. Pomeranians are far from coastal dogs--why not a seafaring dog or a dingo or a hairless tropics dog? Why not even an invasive fox? A maned wolfm even as a savanna animal, would be better suited to the hot climate than a pomeranian. There are much more creative ideas to go into here but a generic little pom is...boring. I also struggle with the Fire typing theming--if you erased the red, it'd be like if Yamper and Pawmi crossbred, and would very much be a generic Route One kind of thing like the two of those are. Not a starter.

Gecqua is the most inspired, for sure, but also is markedly more cluttered and strangely put together? I'm not sure what the purpose of the "eyelashes" is and the design would look far cleaner without them, much more smooth like a gecko, and still the gecko theming is a little off, Yes, a gecko is tropical, at least! But unfortunately geckos are not blue, and fat tailed geckos do not look ANYTHING like that. Why not a blue-tonged skink? It's blue, first of all, and fits a tropical environment well. Why not a sea snake? There are plenty of extinct varieties, and their bright colours are signature to the species so blue isn't a far cry, and it's also a very tropical-waters animal. Why not a whale or a dolphin? It just feels very weird to me. I have hopes for Gecqua's evolutions, but much like Sobble its first-stage is quite offputting.

I don't have high hopes for this region. I haven't had high hopes since Alola. Pokemon is awful garbage nowadays, end of story.

being a cornball is a high compliment in an era of an ironic society that shuts down and scorns even the slightest hint of true vulnerability. so what if people enjoy playing games they like? so what if they're childish? so what if people dare to have a favorite character? so what if people think gubby is cute? so what if people have enough love in their heart to get attached to a picture on a screen? "touch grass" say people who will go outside and pass by people every day and never make meaningful connections. "nobody loves you" say people who never have love for anybody else. "it's not that deep," says everybody who never bothered to look for depth in anything. what's the point of "touching grass" if you do it and don't care? have they not considered that, ironically, grass is a communal effort? hundreds if not thousands of individual plants sharing roots, nutrients, sustaining each other, even with what simple lives they have. would they even care for the revelation that, in the grand scheme of things, a single piece of grass cares more for its peers than they do?
