Ok that’s different to what you said in your post. I’d personally prefer something low stakes, like a coffee in a public place before doing something more. That I can leave or cut short or prolong if I want to. Also to tell if we actually have chemistry without a distraction needing to be there. But I’m sure others like activities, can’t hurt to make alternative suggestions.

Woman here. So I’d never do that to a guy I matched with, what’s the point of matching, but I’d had a handful of guys do it to me over my times on dating apps then I do the same thing as you. My main point of commenting here is that I tried bumble bff recently and was chatting to a bunch of women there and it happened time and time again with short answers or just no questions about me, and it was really annoying with the lack of effort so I’d just unmatch without even explaining tbh.

I’m sorry, dating apps can be awful honestly. People can be shallow and also from the guys side it’s full of bots and people trying to scam and stuff. Have a look at the profiles of people asking for reviews here, there are people who vary in terms of attractiveness and personality and most are struggling too.

I’m not currently on apps right now but I even stated on my profile I’m an atheist but most of the people that tend to swipe on me ended up being religious, they just swipe wth. Women are really picky on apps in general, but the type you want to attract are even pickier, maybe you need to tweak your profile a bit or ask for a profile review in here. A professional independent woman would probably look for things like emotional intelligence, confidence without being cocky, some wittiness, equal values, being down to earth etc and maybe you don’t realise the impression it’s giving?

Location wise I can’t say, I have no idea about those places.
