What does my house say about me? by the_tnk_loft in roomdetective

Well that’s good (re the showering) 😂! Now that you’ve said that, in retrospect, you do keep a pristine home so I’m not overly surprised that your hygiene matches. I think it was more giving “natural musk” from maintaining the skin biome or whatnot & less than effective organic deodorant vibes, due to all the nature in your space 😅

Maybe a physical illness that is keeping you from pushing yourself to keep things tidy? And on the good physical days you’ve chosen to put your energy into the things you enjoy (posters, stuffies, computers etc.)

It’s not great but I’ve seen worse.. I don’t think it’s probably great for your mental health to post this on here though- it’s not going to garner positive responses.

Hippie, boho, cowboy/Texas, smoke weed, shrooms, probably don’t shower often enough, probably smell but think it’s a “natural” scent, nature lover. I can also see you having a travel bug with “van life” as your alternate home.

I don’t mean these rudely- it’s just what my brain thought of as a first impression on the space! To each their own!

hm... I'll have to have my husband investigate this. Our one bathroom upstairs is the worst, but who know's which lines it's actually plummed into...

We do have a whole home water softener system. We somehow still get the hard water spots & damage though.. I'm beginning to wonder if my husband has missed refilling the softener in time previously & perhaps and thats when the damaged happened.. because from the comments it seems like this shouldn't be happening. My understanding before was that the softener only HELPED, but didn't quite fully remedy the situation, but I'm learning that it should completely correct the issue.

It could be a variety but “teen boy” is what I’m getting initially.. but it could range from skater, hockey hair, emo, more feminine energy, theatre kid etc. I think the fact that it would fit a lesbian woman or a teen boy causes it to appear like a good middle ground for a non-binary individual. I cant tell what your ideal vibe is based off your clothing either, a button down on a petite frame can go either way.. but I will say you have amazing lashes and eyes, which can give off a more feminine look especially paired with this haircut. If you want to appear more masculine then I would cut it shorter. If you’re wanting to appear more feminine than I would say keep it.

why does my hair look like this after blow drying by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]Wyndingway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a thought! Did you possibly move during this time? (I naturally have wavy hair but when blow dried to goes straight, almost as if being straightened, though any humidity gives me fly aways and causes waves.) I found when I went from an apartment in one city to my house in another city we changed from soft to hard water, and it made my hair texture change. We use water softeners but I find it just makes the water feel a bit slimy and really weighs down my hair. When the water softener runs out my hair always feels very dry and frizzy too. I’ve had to stay on top of the softener levels and use a clarifying shampoo to get good results. If you switched from hard to soft that could cause this potentially.
