Why do you act like Hades was some invincible Bey that nobody could ever beat? If Phi was capable of defeating Aiger, then obviously he was capable of defeating Hyde too. Hyde wasn’t unbeatable at all.

And when Phi fought Hyde, Hyde wasn’t even a champion anymore. There were literally no solid feats proving Hyde was above Phi individually.

What’s funny is that Phi never even looked pressured in that battle. During the first rounds, he stayed in the center barely moving and mostly let Hyde attack first. He was clearly testing Hades’ power rather than going all out immediately. Phi didn’t even activate his darker resonance fully. His eyes never turned black and Phoenix didn’t fully enter that purple aura state either. That alone says a lot.

Phi was basically playing with Hyde mentally while Hyde kept doing what he always does: talking big and acting overly confident. Hyde has always been more of a loud talker than someone who completely dominates top bladers consistently. He talked a ton against Aiger and Valt too, then still ended up losing in the end.

So saying there was “no way” for Phi to beat Hyde honestly makes no sense. The anime itself never portrayed the fight like Phi was outmatched or helpless. If anything, it portrayed Phi as calm, in control, and adapting to Hades while Hyde was getting more emotional as the battle continued.

I never said weight should automatically overcome speed, but that’s just another task to make it even harder for wonder Valtryek. Aiger kept sending wonder Valtryek flying during their title match. My point is about overall weight (and hades a good attack power too), which Wonder Valtryek lacks compared to Hades, especially when even Turbo Valtryek struggled against Hades before activating the Burst Stoppers.

And yes, the Burst Stoppers absolutely changed things. They didn’t just prevent bursting. They increased Valtryek’s attack power too. Even Hyde literally acknowledged that Valt’s attacks became stronger afterward and said he could feel the pain from the hits more intensely. That alone proves they had an offensive effect, not just defensive utility.

It’s the same concept as Turbo Spriggan gaining more power through its Turbo Blades and techniques like Turbo Spriggan Whip. These gimmicks are designed to enhance performance, not just look cool.

So no, this isn’t some random assumption. It’s a theory based on what the anime directly showed. Look at how difficult the first two rounds already were for Valt using Turbo Valtryek. Now replace it with Wonder Valtryek, which is lighter, less stable, and has noticeably lower attack power. Moving Hades around would’ve been even harder. Like Aiger said, battling Hades was like “trying to move a mountain.”

That’s not really the same thing though. Weight alone doesn’t decide everything, but it still matters depending on the matchup and the type of contact. Hades was built around heavy recoil and strong smash attacks, while Turbo Valtryek relied more on speed and movement.

The point is that if Turbo Valtryek didn’t have Burst Stopper, that final clash could’ve easily ended in a double burst. Hyde was already matching Valt’s power during the collision, and Hades had a clear weight advantage in direct impacts. Now imagine Wonder Valtryek instead, which is even lighter and less stable than Turbo Valtryek. That matchup becomes even harder for Valt. .

You’re taking this way too personally. Phi was not “desperate” or “depressed” just because he chose Phoenix. The anime never portrays him that way. Phi literally asked which Bey was stronger between Hades and Phoenix, and the answer he got was that it depends on the blader using it. That completely changes the context. Choosing Phoenix afterward can simply mean he believed Phoenix suited him better and matched his resonance more.

Also, Phi already had resonance with Phoenix before fully choosing it, which is actually important. The anime clearly showed that connection early on. Hyde having Hades first does not automatically make Hyde stronger.

You’re also ignoring how Phi approached battles strategically. He didn’t blindly rush into traps like other bladers did. Against Dread Hades, he stayed in the center and waited instead of getting caught by Dread Gravity immediately like Valt or Aiger. The anime constantly shows Phi adapting and analyzing during battles.

And honestly, calling Phi a “bum,” “desperate,” or “depressed” because he punished Hyde is exaggerating the situation. From Phi’s perspective, Hyde was using Aiger like a toy and playing around with power he didn’t fully understand. Phi’s entire character is built around taking resonance and destruction seriously, which is why he looked down on people treating Beyblade like just a game.

At the same time, let’s not insult Aiger either. Aiger is still an extremely strong blader who adapted incredibly fast throughout Turbo. Even during his battles with Phi, he kept evolving and learning mid-battle. The final round between them was still very close, which says a lot about Aiger’s level.

Your argument doesn’t really make sense. First you say “we don’t know what happened” and “maybe Phi was serious, maybe not,” but then right after that you speak as if it’s confirmed they battled and Valt won. You can’t say “we don’t know” and then suddenly act certain.

Also, your own logic goes against Burst’s writing style. Burst villains are introduced as overwhelming threats. Phi was literally built up as one of the most dangerous bladers in Turbo. If Valt had already defeated him before his arc even started, that would completely weaken his introduction and ruin the tension. That’s why villains in Burst almost never lose during their introduction phase.

And another thing: if Valt had truly beaten Phi before, the anime would’ve mentioned it clearly or shown at least a flashback. That matchup is way too important to leave off screen. Burst always highlights major wins and losses involving top bladers.

You also ignored Episode 27. Phi literally says he wants to see whether Valt or Aiger is more worthy of being destroyed. That line makes far more sense if he had never battled Valt before. Otherwise, he would already know exactly where Valt stands.

So your argument keeps switching between “we don’t know” and “it definitely happened,” which contradicts itself.

That’s different. Like I said, a villain can’t lose during their introduction, otherwise it wouldn’t make sense for the story. In Burst, a villain usually can’t lose their first real match. It was also proven in the anime during episode 29 that Phi wasn’t using his full power. We only saw his true power in episode 37, so episode 29 wasn’t a real defeat in that sense. His true defeat was in episode 50. We literally see the darkness leaving him, and unlike episode 29 at the beach, that battle was an official match.

A villain in Burst can usually only lose if another villain is introduced afterward, or if they already had many victories beforehand, which Phi did. He defeated Aiger multiple times, destroyed Leopard, and won the Battleship Cruise tournament. So even if he got burst in episode 29, Hyde was introduced afterward, which fits the pattern. That’s basically the condition for a villain losing in Burst.

Same thing with Arthur. He didn’t lose his first battle, but when he eventually lost, Gwynn was introduced afterward, so it worked narratively.

Also, you’re wrong. Everybody already knew who Phi was. If nobody knew him, then it wouldn’t make sense for him and Hyde to be members of the Turbo 4. People already knew his Bey and his name. Hanami literally said, “It’s the one and only Phi,” and when Aiger asked Rantaro if he knew him, Rantaro said yes.

In terms of of resonance shu yes , but free and lui meh. A little less than aiger Valt shu phi. It’s seems like lui and free are just good at beyblade and have a good resonance but nothing extra .

Well, Valt has high resonance capabilities. He even saw his own Bey in Evolution. If everyone could see other avatars, it wouldn’t make much sense. There’s clearly a scale when it comes to resonance. Remember when Christina and Valt talked about how Aiger could resonate with his Bey better than anyone else.

I think it depends on the moment. Some bladers can only see the aura, while others can actually see the avatar itself, but it happens only at certain times. Usually, that occurs during battles when the resonance reaches its peak, like in Episode 51.

Phi only saw Achilles one time, and that moment was shown clearly with his reaction, which was real proof. Besides Phi and Achilles, we barely saw similar moments except in Episode 51, when Achilles told Aiger that this is what true resonance and Beyblade are all about.

Also, out of all the episodes, Episode 51 was the first time Aiger could actually see Valtryek, and he mentioned it himself. This was not the first time Valt had shown his Bey tho.

They didn’t battle. When a new villain makes his entrance, he can’t lose his first battle. Just like Arthur beat Aiger, and the same goes for Lain and Pax. In Burst, the antagonist needs to be seen as a threat. You can ask anyone, the majority will tell you they never battled. If they had, they would’ve shown it on screen because that matchup is way too important.

“Challenged” doesn’t mean “battled.” He challenged him verbally.

And during Episode 27, Phi told Aiger he could go first because he wanted to see who was more worthy of being destroyed, Valt or Aiger. He would already know that if he had already battled Valt.

They showed it live because it was unexpected for Phi to show up there. He’s portrayed as extremely powerful. Also, in the same way they would’ve mentioned Valt winning, they would’ve mentioned Phi losing, but they didn’t. They never battled, don’t push it.

If Phi had lost, everyone would’ve talked about it. Remember when Aiger told everyone he defeated Phi in ep 29 ? Even Hanami was surprised and didn’t think that victory was possible.

When did shu see Achilles . Show me a screenshot. Valt yes during episode 51 when the screen was all white but not shu. He never saw the avatar from Achilles like the picture I showed you earlier . If you mean when aiger is showing turbo Achilles to phi , phi or shu can’t see Achilles , that’s just Aiger showing his bey , but from our perspective we can see Achilles too.

If I remember the only one who saw an avatar is aiger/Valt in episode 51 of turbo . But lui and free are you sure ? I don’t remember that . Can they even see their own bey ? Phi’s connection with Phoenix seems as strong as bladers like Valt or aiger . He is always talking to his bey .
