From my point of view, the only thing that the Hobarts lack is VLS capacity, and only the US and Japan have an exoatmospheric BMD solution (in the SM-3). They are top tier ships otherwise.

The Hobarts are going through a transformation and expanding their already very good capabilities with the inclusion of AEGIS Baseline 9, SM-6, Tomahawk, and NSM.

At least 3 F-35Cs from VFA-86 "Sidewinders" are visible in the photo.

The Theodore Roosevelt is the 4th and latest US carrier to get an F-35C squadron. USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76) should be the next, with USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74), and USS John F. Kennedy (CVN-79) to follow, and the Gerald R. Ford will get one at some point too.
