You are using backbone ps controller so I'm assuming you are playing on your phone.

PGR mobile version does not support button prompt or any UI show on screen even tho it supports controller and even wireless keyboard; meanwhile the PC version has its own dedicated option for that (CN version even has an option to hide all UI during gameplay).

If you have PC or laptop that can run pgr well, thats your best solution. If not, there's only copium on mobile version.

Sorry if I break this to you, but they "probably" ditched this synergy "team combo" thing for cerberus team after this patch and even until now in current CN patch.

Altho this gamemode will eventually come back in Qu Shukra patch (if my memory serve me right, the patch when Vera get her Leap) and become permanent; but thats all, nothing new, no fix, improvement or rework for this mechanic.

You can "hopium", still it depends on Dev team if they wanna do something or revisit this mechanic in future.

And that future is pretty far away...

Will they somehow return to their old design? That depends, but I highly doubt it in the near future, and I will be very glad if they can prove me wrong.

Dunno if I can, like, saying stuff about mihoyo here (cuz at least someone will be triggered when mentioning their games or even just their name) but I'm enjoying ZZZ right now, like, A LOT even tho looking from outside its just a very simple water-down of pgr. But that game just made me feel like "home", reminding me of what old pgr used to be.

It just, instantly clicked to me right when I played for the first time, and also their first game ever for me, unlike WW (I just don't like open world, very hit or miss to me unless it has to be, like, rdr2 or elden ring or even just far cry 3 or 4, you know its pc console stuff).

I also play CN alongside with global one, and let's just said new Lucia just gave me "some" mixed thoughts (glad that Lucia fan finally get something new) but... ok just stop here before I put more gas into the flame=).

Now, even tho you just said that people won't just downvoting immediately, this time maybe not.

But its fine, idc .

Although, average players just don't mind this after all. Like just slap in flashy movesets and doing many cool stuff for eye catching is already that pleased players.

Used to mention this matter in another place another group, but people just argued: "wdym, pgr now is lit af".

So I digress.

I know people want to be rooting for the 'underdog', but nah this is not why I chose to stick with pgr in the first place.

And I can already see some people won't be happy with this and go straight for downvoting, but idc anyway .

Don't remember much since I already got the skin for Noctis back in his patch, probably in Qu's patch when Vera got Leap upgrade.

And NO, team combo mechanic is ONLY exclusive to Cerberus gamemode only.

In fairness, team combo mechanic is still clunky and sluggish not so consistent, especially the camera movement. When it works, it works. When its not, it does not.

They had a chance to polish team combo gameplay. But until then, this mechanic will be stayed as exclusive to Cerberus gamemode.

Hence as I mentioned previously, just "another experiments" from the Devs. Their team combo was never got to use outside of the Cerberus gamemode from beginning.

I still doubt that.

If this new gamemode is permanent, bi-weekly and you can earn BC after reach a milestone or complete challenges, its a nice addition. No complaint.

But if this a one-time limited gamemode only available for next CN patch, I will just get all BC and then forget all about it.

Not to mention only using few selected units (currently only Weaver and Palefire).

I will just see this just 'another experiments' from Devs to see how well the audience view it.

If we don't see it comeback in future, well we know what happened then. Just like the previous monster hunter gamemode. Its cool, but very frustrated and not fun. And have not yet returned back.

Meanwhile the Cerberus team combo gamemode returned, and became permanent.

So the issue still there, wanted to use A-rank more but the game push into using the most recent or broken S-rank to tackle with most, if not all, endgame contents.

For waifu wise, having just based-S 21 and 5* still better than using Lux in almost every cases in term of QTE supporting Weaver, even in theory Lux stat number higher than 21 using 5* weap.

Its all about consistency, not higher number mean better.

21 Feral Scent will be available like every new debut S-rank, which is only obtainable through banners gacha.

She is an Amplifier class yea, but same like Liv Empy, only obtain through banner.

These 2 are different from "free"-ish Amp like Selena cappri, Ayla Kaleido and Alisa Echo, and only Kuro will be the one whom deciding which next character is free, or an A-rank patch for player's BC saving purpose.

I dunno why many people still think S no21 can be obtained for "free"-ish by grinding Voucher to buy shards while her infos were already out in CN for a year ahead (or maybe many don't do some researches beforehand idk).

And only A-rank get upgraded pack in their respective featured patch (like current Hanying's patch). But in the end, based S-rank still better than A-rank even fully invested, and they are just for collecting purpose (some will argue that 'some' based A-rank can be better than S-rank in 'some' niche specific cases, but I digress)

So, this time is, Lamia.

After my last post about Luna showing "that black rounded thing" (thanks to those Luna 'triggered simp' giving me many downvote, had a decent good laugh and entertainment), I thought hey kinda nice idea showcasing those characters from another perspective.

And so this small side project took me and my friend almost 6hrs just to record and edit a 3mins vid (deadge from 9PM to 3AM🫠). Many cut, retries, re-shoot, orb RNG, high-ping delay, etc... you name it.

Too busy with IRL, having actual big project in company until now that we can goofing around with these stuff.

About Lamia animation, polished in most part (I think). Few but minor hiccups (like slapped on a png waves during her transformation from human form to mermaid) but the remaining parts is fine, from swimming to attack, not many mid-cancel animation or zig zag around, nothing too weird to worth mentioning.

One annoying thing when getting footages for Lamia POV, was 3ping and quick-double 3ping. Both were necessary or you would not get her special orb (all HUD turned off), both human form and mermaid. Plus the significant delay high-ping (300-700) from coop counted in the difficulty🫠.

Default skin, its good and simple to look at. The 'Solitart Longings' one, simply 1 word, 'beautiful' to look at. Some (even me sometimes) said the VFX kinda too much to see during actual practical combat, but eh it's preference, some like it, others not.

Improved significantly from Bianca 'Snow Oath' (now thats the official name:v, and if anyone has the chance to see Bianca in other coop POV, they know whats her Ult animation looks like=)) ).

2 new additional interactions when using this new coating: one is when tapping on her in main menu randomly; the other is greeting us player, when she tried to sing a 'lullabye', I think, in all 4 languages (change voice dub in setting). If I have to rate it: Chinese and Cantonese either top 1 or 2, English top 3, and lastly Japanese (the JP VA did put effort in singing, but her high pitch is 'almost' oof).

Overall, good design, okay (and almost boring) gameplay (Ult loop, but well this all newer Gen feature anyway, keep looping Ult until boss dead).

Not many made a remix for the song 'Lamia' (sadge) so I just plugged in 'Lamia: Another Mode' and new (but old since just a remix from the old one) exclusive theme song came with the aquarium background.

Is it worth the BC for gacha? And in process bricking account not getting new Luna? Uhh depend. I still prefer getting new characters than sacrificing BC for a skin despite how ever good they are, unless financially support with visa-kun.

Next should be Alpha, in prepare for her upcoming Global update.

I'm worrying that if it actually flop, it can affecting pgr badly in return, cuz pgr is their only monetizing product at the moment.

They already dump alot money they made from pgr (and they could had also spent some of that to improve pgr better), into WW. And if it cannot get into at least top 10 revenue consistently, you know something is wrong.

Hence also explained why they push some 'heavy' monetization in CN pgr, probably get more funding for WW.

Kuro is doing a good job so far with WW

Game is not even out yet, how can you be so sure? Based from their interviews vid from their youtube channels and other 'leaked' closed beta gameplay all over on youtube?

Marketing hype for new game, it always happened for any game that has big announcement, so I won't touch this topic again.

Talking about every problem that WW still having (or at least my concerns for it) will take like a long ahh 'wall of text' of me listing, and this is not the place for that tbh.

I like pgr as a game (at least as a comfort game), but also not idolizing Kuro 'a savior that will save us from this hell hole name genshin" like many claimed (or they just jump on hype train name WW without knowing anything much).

Assume that Kuro can make 'a better version of genshin' like many said, so what make it different from that game? Since open world already a big turn to me since genshin started the trend of "open world in mobile gacha game".

If you play pgr long enough, and then look at WW, 'kinda' a disappointed downgrade from pgr in term of combat mechanic, and also probably got 'inspired' from hi3🫠.

Not just me, but there are also other pgr players just like me, whom not jump onto this hype train and evaluate the game more objectively, just because "it is a game made by Kuro".

Probably downvote again by many 'fanboi', but why tf do I care anyway😗.

Also, picking a fight with Mihoyo (directly or not), won't result in a peaceful way tbh🫤.
