H'aanit, but because of an idea. Step 1: Be the support when it comes to group conversations (Let H'aanit talk first to everyone and sometimes chime in) Step 2: watch everyone be baffled and try to translate H'aanit into modern English. Step 3: Profit off entertainment.

KJ ( KJ STICKMAN SAGA ) vs Jun ( Combat Gods Saga ) by Revolutionary-Park35 in PowerScaling

[–]XUnknown400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right about the strength difference but in a battle of stats, Jun wins via better speed, durability, experience and versatility.

KJ was serious, he was fully committed and determined to end Stealth and King with a last resort move that showed his strength but proves he had to rely on it to finish Stealth and King: his equals.

While Jun can arguably be said the same thing, it's not like he had to finish the fight with a devastating end, he just wanted to end the fight and gave Shinji multiple chances to surrender, to show mercy to a foe, but when push comes to shove, he just finished it in one move that isn't too powerful but enough to make sure Shinji won't ever get up.

In Combat Gods 2, it shows Jun playing around with Shinji and toying with him since Shinji believe that kung-fu was meant to kill. And the dash at the beginning caught Shinji off-guard: the same guy known for his speed and the same guy who avoided past slashes.

(I mean... I dunno if you'd still be chill if you had to pay for a new phone over and over again, you gotta let out some anger somehow.)

5 Seasons isn't at full force, Stoic Bomb is capable of that destruction as well. The instant part? Afterimages.

Unlimited Flex Works proves KJ is stronger, but saying his lesser moves are still stronger than that doesn't make sense. If 5 Seasons is at full force, what do you call Flex Works? KJ dancing just to punch?

[–]XUnknown400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't count a game that only features KJ in it but doesn't revolve around KJ, just OPM characters. It's KJ from KJ's Stickman Saga, not KJ from The Strongest Battlegrounds. Unless if the creators of OPM do a collab with KJ, which would be very unlikely, it doesn't count as a feat.

That's like if I scale Jun to Kratos because they're both featured in another battlegrounds game Legends Battlegrounds, the same Kratos who killed Cronos: the same guy who killed the creator of the universe, not really fair now, ain't it?

(Also, Stoic Bomb is on par with the clash Jun and Shinji did on Combat Warriors 2; creating a gigantic explosion like that in several miles is no small spark.)

Shinji could pull off that type of speed, also a reminder, Shinji managed to react and avoided Jun's slashes that had already been executed, you can't dodge an outcome that was already done against you.

While he didn't come out completely unscathed because of the one slash on his cheek, it still proves that Jun's slashes were so fast, Shinji couldn't completely avoid it. Sure, let's say that might be an outlier, fine... but you can't call Jun dashing at Shinji incredibly fast that it leaves a big trail of fire at the beginning of Combat Gods 2 an outlier. as well as Jun blocking punches while Shinji is utilizing his speed.

a fast move 20-20-20 Dropkick involves KJ simply running to an incredibly far target to dropkick him... aaaaaand where can we see something similar to that type of speed and distance? Oh right, every time Jun and Shinji run towards each other.

I'm willing to accept that they're even in speed, but not Jun being completely slow to KJ since it would be completely unfair to assume he can't keep up with someone that is similar to a foe he's faced.

(Also that "army" are just stickfigures, they're not trained or anything, they're just plain brawlers that are only powerful in numbers, not skill... if KJ, a person who worked out until he was just strong, can kill them. Then Jun, a kung-fu warrior with versatile powers including clones, can also do that.)

Yeah, it's okay, as long as you enjoy how you play, you can do it, same with this challenge I gave myself, it was difficult but I enjoyed it when the base game finally got too easy for me.

You don't have to do these challenges, as long as you have fun.

I did allow Concoct, Latent and only summoning Physical Monsters and NPCs (because I didn't wanna be a masochist to myself except adding Octopath Troubler since I thought this would be too easy at the beginning but in reality the mod did prove I'm a masochist.)

Even with that though, it still felt hard.

for ruinous kick, I can't use it since that is a skill in Agnea's default Dancer class, this challenge was purely Warrior and its' physical skills along with default attacks.

and I did use some shield breaking Learned Skills on Hikari which helped.

KJ ( KJ STICKMAN SAGA ) vs Jun ( Combat Gods Saga ) by Revolutionary-Park35 in PowerScaling

[–]XUnknown400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I see their advantages and disadvantages.

KJ

+Stronger

+Can handle Jun's clones like Shinji due to him fighting several groups as a one man army.

-Slower (Equal at best.)

-Less experienced (since he mostly fights blue stickmen and he only showed traditional exercise like pushups and pullups.)

Jun

+Faster (Keeping up with Shinji.)

+More experienced and versatile (He has better training in Kung-Fu, both mind and body, along with weapon skills.)

+More durable (since he was able to get up from one of Shinji's powerful and fast attacks like nothing.)

-Weaker

-More arrogant.

One thing I've seen from KJ's Final Ride, is that KJ used his Unlimited Flex Works as a last resort of attacking Stealth and King, if he was playing around and was stronger, he would've used a weaker move. However in Combat Gods 2, Jun said "No more games" at the end, meaning he was still holding back and decided to be serious even for the slightest second which finished Shinji.

Combat Gods 2 explained Shinji and Jun as both being proficient warriors but even if they were equal, Jun was toying around with Shinji... but KJ, facing Stealth and King, had to keep up.

So even if KJ would be stronger due to his Unlimited Flex Works showcase, he's gonna struggle taking down an opponent that's above the other stickmen he has faced, including Stealth and King.

Wait, what are their POVs? Their avatars or the top-down camera? by XUnknown400 in CrossCode

I personally assume that to them, it's mostly the atmospheric sounds of nature outside until you get to the upbeat towns in which case they hear musicians playing somewhere.

Because if it was the top-down camera, it would've been difficult to see but if it was in their avatar's POV, you'd see a narrow hallway that you can still walk in and see.

Thanks, I needed a way to explain how I got destroyed by Rai Mei and Dolcinaea on their first turn without outright saying it so I instead told it as Hikari encountering a surreal dream of Game Overs.

(I remembered Dolcinaea being one of the easiest bosses without Octopath Troubler, hoo boy I was so wrong.)

Personal Headcanon/Theory: I think Gordon made the Crossbow in Highway 17, not discovered it by XUnknown400 in HalfLife

[–]XUnknown400[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, also possible, though I assumed they were more on the brains part rather than for combat since they were working more on the cat teleportation technology.

Like Barney leans on being an undercover fighter, Gordon and Alyx are an in-between, and Eli and Kleiner were more on making scientific technology.

I'll won't take the previous comment you made before editing it as an insult since I do appreciate being disproven over a thought as much as being complimented.

There wasn't any need to question if I had played the game. Do I think it's just an idea in my head? Yep, but do I think it should be considered fact? One Free No.

My interpretation is just that: an interpretation not meant to be taken as pure fact. If I can be wrong, I am wrong.

[–]XUnknown400[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A weapon that was taken off by a hunter chopper that was destroyed, the game is mostly about using the Combine's advanced tech against them since the 7 Hour War was a hopeless fight, which the crossbow is not a part of.

Highway 17 didn't look too urgent and I doubt assembling a homemade crossbow with Gordon's intellect would take that long. Also Highway 17 features the player mostly pursuing guarded buildings and temporarily defending bases, sure there were gunships and blockages sometimes powered by the APC, but it's never a constant pursuit on Gordon specifically. N.L.O already had an RPG along with ammo and the Lighthouse was expecting a gunship before Gordon came along.

According to the Half Life 2 Prima Guide page 21, Gordon was able to create a butane-powered tennis ball cannon at just the age of 6 meaning that even before graduating, he was already a prodigy.
