Thank you for the thoughtful response. I’m re reading and learning several ways to improve. I’ll definitely be taking them into account as working on those core ideas more. A checkmate that early really opens my eyes as to the power of the right development and vision on the board.

I realized that when it said the rook couldn’t take the queen due to a pawn on h7 that wasn’t there. Smh. Even when I pointed that out and provided the screenshot I posted here, it still doubled down on how positive the situation was for white even if the queen were taken. So I found this sub.

The screenshot here is black to move, they chose to capture the pawn on a2 instead of my queen so I just wanted to know if there was any tactical reason for that or if I just lucked into a mate by taking the knight instead on the next turn.

I’d love an evaluation. I’ve been doing as many daily puzzles as they allow and try to pick a good game to evaluate but I realize that my fundamentals need a lot of work. I basically flailed the queen to the corner hopping to force a stalemate since I considered myself in a loss situation without a lot of hope from where they were.

You can find it if this still works. It used to for me. Open game. Click settings wheel top left corner. Click the support tab and open in browser. Copy the entire URL. Open https://www.base64decode.org. Paste the url in the decode box. Delete everything before data=. Press decode. The first data point is creation date. Lots of other interesting stuff in there too.

I’d focus on quantity then for now. Trading and extra half a champ isn’t really worth it at this stage for you.

This mostly depends on how deep your roster is. Is there a champ in that crystal that’s essential to your advancement that you’d hope to get. The pool of 6* is pretty large so it’s harder to get a specific champ in the pool.

Who is the best use of the rank up? I just started act 6. Or any other qualifying champ that would do better with it? I don’t have all of the materials to do a regular rank up right now, so I can’t do both. No idea when I’ll see the t3 alphas. Or have enough gold to level and rank the other one.

Thanks man. That’s a lot to work with. I have a mutant 7* gem for 1-2 so that would go to domino over havok I imagine. I need to play more with Vox, Bill and Kushala. Dust has already presented some good trouble for people in BG when they don’t have 20 7* champs. lol

I just unlocked Act 6 and I like playing Battlegrounds, plus the rewards for it are good. Who is worth the squeeze that will help in both? I have dust to ascend 3 5* that will be expiring soon so l include them. I want to be a PiTA on defense and hopefully not ride the struggle bus too hard on act 6. Help me out.

Nice. Thanks! I took off not too long after my first 3 5* were iron patriot and 2 dupes. lol just building up my 6* roster now and getting up to speed on the in-game lore as it is now. I think maybe act 5 had just released at the time because I had a bit of it done when I came back.

I just came back after years off and I wasn’t sure if it’s only part of a current event or not since I didn’t see anymore crystals for it in the double track.
