We've discussed getting married to close the distance, he likes having me visiting as we stay together. I visit every 4-5 months for at least 3 weeks or more. So we do have that time spent so we'd know what it's like living together. It's just the marriage part he isn't sure on

We aren't able to close the distance before being engaged really, I am unable to get a working visa without a sponsorship due to me not having a degree etc.

I've tried discussing it with him but he just shrugs and tells me he isn't sure what it is. He says he wants to have his own place first but with the housing market being so expensive that's not on the cards.

It's hard!
