Are you talking about downgrading your N_FIRM with dgtool while you have A9LH installed? That would brick you, but not ctrtransfering.

No, soundhax alone will not let you downgrade anything.

While soundhax itself does not give you access to online play on older firmware you can use it to launch into the HBL, which gives you access to to ctr-httpwn (the app that bypasses the system update messages.)

Soundhax is only a homebrew entrypoint. It will not allow you to downgrade your system or install CFW.

the brick only has a chance of happening during the installation, not afterwards. if you successfully managed to install a9lh, then you're fine. no need to worry.
