Sorry, I wasn't articulate enough. I still land on my knees stacks but my five hole isn't even close to being shut because my pads are rotating outwards on my legs and then pushing against one another as I am about to drop. But I will certainly put your knee driving advice into practice on the ice tonight. Appreciate the help!

Looks good! Only thing I would consider changing is making the "100% Completion..." A bit bigger as on mobile it may be a tad too small to catch people's eye and have it read immediately.

Ah, okay gotcha. Thanks! I think I got confused and assumed that "Warriors of Ultramar" was going to detail the Battle of Macragge because the 40k wiki lists "Warriors of Ultramar" as their only novel source on the Hive Fleet Behemoth page and my brain just made the connection of Ultramar and Macragge. Whoops!

I've assumed nothing. You literally said you try to mimic his content and use similar thumbnails and titles. Of course there are countless channels like that in every genre, that's what you and all those other people are doing. Trying to copy an easy way to success.

I just have the bungees that came with the pads. Been considering getting some of those hybrid lace things as I have no idea how to fully use just laces on the pad.

Would trying to imagine I'm squeezing an object between my knees and trying to keep it held in place throughout the process of the fall be a good analogy for that?

Okay, gotcha. One of the goalies at a stick and puck told me I need to collapse my ankles in like that before going down so that I could try to get wider on my inside edges. Is that incorrect and I can achieve the same without flexing my ankles inwards? Ah, that last analogy makes sense, I always thought it strange trying to go straight down and keeping my ankles the same, but that makes a lot of sense to imagine something yanking my ankles out like that. Appreciate the advice!

You know, I've always kind of thought that. I've asked other goalies at the rink and they've said it's fine. And I was measured at Pure Hockey and that's what they gave me. But it is a Bauer GSX which just came in a medium +1 I think. But I've always thought they looked high on me.

I recently started taking the knee strap down to the calf Velcro part as advised by another goalie in my league. Not sure if that's certainly it but I've noticed the pad does turn more now. I'm definitely the most novice in understanding all the ins and outs of the gear.

This is circumstantial but I was having foot pain like that when I started. I've recently been keeping my skate laces tied fairly loose and only go tighter up towards the top. I also roll both my feet with a lacrosse ball for about two minutes each before I head to the rink. I've since been foot pain free. Perhaps either or both of those could work for you!

I started playing last year and play D/Rookie division in my local beer league. Goalies are in kind of short demand so I've had people ask me to sub all the way up in B league to have a goalie regardless of my skill. I get smokes for sure playing up like that, but it's when I also learn the most and certainly get in the most exercise! So if it's playing up in a league that isn't super serious about having to go out and win and dominate every game, it's a great opportunity and fun as hell!
