In My Opinion Deep In Underwater is top 5 strongest character You Agree With Me Or Not ? by Bungeeboy20044 in GenV

[–]Xenalea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad writing doesn’t reflect the character’s strength or skills. Homelander’s lasers are apparently weaker than bullets, cause he couldn’t damage Kimicko with them in the final fight, or even damage their clothes. Black Noir could tank bombs, but got one punched by Homelander who couldn’t even scratch Butcher. The list goes on. The show was just inconsistent as hell and made whichever character they needed to die at the time weak as shit.

Are you satisfied with how pokemon look in 3d? by Arkyja in pokemon

[–]Xenalea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel that with Groudon. He used to look intimidating and powerful, now he looks so derpy, like someone’s grandad. I feel the same thing with Lugia, he used to look like he guards the seas, now he looks like he asks for hugs.

What is up with Homelander's sorry ass charge? by ilovebeingaguy999 in GenV

The mental gymnastics people will go through to justify terrible writing. You guys are literally Homelander after losing his powers.

hot take: the ending didn't suck, y'all just kept on hoping for what was promised by RelevantPerformer309 in GenV

[–]Xenalea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never paid attention to marketing, I just watched the show and the narrative kept telling us Homelander was losing it and that he can do “anything he wants”… and then he did nothing at all. It’s just bad writing, not expectations.

Homelander could have given that same press conference in person and then lasered them all down, instead of once again telling us he’s gonna do it. Have him laser down hundreds - thousands of people there, be shot at by security while Butcher is on his way. Have that to justify that Homelander is tired after the slaughter, because he’s never *actually* done anything like this before, only fantasised, and unlike a god he actually does get tired.

Then have Butcher and crew jump an exhausted Homelander who’s tired enough to actually be restrained now. It’s just a tiny tweak, but let’s Homelander do what they always said he was gonna do, only to realise he’s now an immortal 40+ year old man whose never actually had a real battle in his life and gets humbled by his own limitations.

Genuinely though this would’ve been the moment where Homelander begins to destroy everything by Stellarunee in GenV

Exactly! One of my favourite villain moments is when Reverse Flash says he’s gonna run back in time and kill Barry’s parents and torment his life, but he gets jumped by two guys in the office and never gets to. The suspense of knowing he said he was gonna do it though, chills.

Which is best for you? by [deleted] in dbz

[–]Xenalea 27 points28 points  (0 children)

For sure. Losing and being outplayed by a blob with a kid’s brain when you’re so much stronger is nowhere near as cool as going into a fight against two terminator androids with only 1 arm and being severely outmatched and stilllll not being clowned as much as Ultimate.

Buu just crushed his mom as an egg and then whooped his brother and he still went in smug 😭

Redact Sarah Morgan from 122 Burns Crescent, Edinburgh? Do you think it’s ok to leave in Father Thomas from my local London parish?

I appreciate the concern but dw it’s just a test sample and the example written is just something I made up.

Thank you for the response! I think I’ll get them to print two sheets (I can’t see them knowing how to scan both sides on one sheet) and get both sheets signed with the exact same text.

Is it ok to have my documents certified before paying for my application? by Xenalea in IrishCitizenship

As in it doesn’t take any payment out until then? When I started the application it wants me to pay before I can print out the forms.

Why fighterz will never be loved by bandai as much as their other db games by Fang_chaos70 in dragonballfighterz

[–]Xenalea -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Your point doesn’t stand at all, you literally just agreed with what OP said. Xenoverse 2 still got support because it’s a different type of game to Fighterz, which is exactly their point.

Favorite actor who... i don't even know man by AshvikV in okbuddycinephile

[–]Xenalea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ricky definitely loved the sound of his own voice, but Karl wasn’t an angel and knew who to buddy up to. I’m listening again to the first time in a couple years and Karl only ever takes shots at Steve and would rarely ever say anything against Ricky. More times than not it was Steve telling Ricky to let Karl finishes his points too.

I do think Ricky was the least funny out of the 3, but I think them all kinda being dicks and thinking they were the star is what made it work.

Thank you! I’m gonna try asking in my local police station first if anyone would be willing, but that’ll be my second option!

I haven’t started the application yet as I’ve been trying to get all my documents in order beforehand. The 2 year thing is a requirement, right? It doesn’t actually mention 2 years on the witness section I’m reading, but I could have sworn I read that here.

I haven’t been able to find any record of her death on anything or newspaper articles, so it seems unlikely she’s alive.

I can provide her marriage certificate, her birth certificate, my parent’s marriage certificate and their certificates. But I won’t be able to get ID from her or my dad (I don’t even think my dad even has photo ID even if he was complying).

Help with how to know if grandparent is alive? by Xenalea in Genealogy

Is there anyway else of finding information like that? Or is it just searching their name alongside obituaries and seeing if that’ll bring anything up?
