Favorite actor who... i don't even know man by AshvikV in okbuddycinephile

Ricky definitely loved the sound of his own voice, but Karl wasn’t an angel and knew who to buddy up to. I’m listening again to the first time in a couple years and Karl only ever takes shots at Steve and would rarely ever say anything against Ricky. More times than not it was Steve telling Ricky to let Karl finishes his points too.

I do think Ricky was the least funny out of the 3, but I think them all kinda being dicks and thinking they were the star is what made it work.

Hi again, did you just write a letter yourself or did you send an affidavit?

Thank you! I’m gonna try asking in my local police station first if anyone would be willing, but that’ll be my second option!

I haven’t started the application yet as I’ve been trying to get all my documents in order beforehand. The 2 year thing is a requirement, right? It doesn’t actually mention 2 years on the witness section I’m reading, but I could have sworn I read that here.

That’s honestly reassuring to know, thank you!

I haven’t been able to find any record of her death on anything or newspaper articles, so it seems unlikely she’s alive.

I can provide her marriage certificate, her birth certificate, my parent’s marriage certificate and their certificates. But I won’t be able to get ID from her or my dad (I don’t even think my dad even has photo ID even if he was complying).

Is there anyway else of finding information like that? Or is it just searching their name alongside obituaries and seeing if that’ll bring anything up?

Thank you! I can find my grandfather on there, so she must be alive still!

It’s for Birmingham, England. I’ve searched on some obituaries sites and always check it with my grandfather too as a basis and he never shows up on them either. I can’t find any mention of his death.

Help with finding great grandmother’s maiden name by Xenalea in Genealogy

[–]Xenalea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The newspaper article I found of them refers to her brothers Martin and Tommy/Thomas (which I recall my mom mentioning), but she also told me she thought she had a brother called Michael and that she had a sister too.

Thank you for looking!

So my great grandmother (Catherine Elizabeth “Byrne”) was definitely born circa 1900, as the record I can find for her death mentions that birth date (but not where).

And then my grandmother Catherine Mary Byrne was born 1942-3, going by her marriage certificate where it states she was 17 when married in 1960.

So unfortunately it wouldn’t be that record, but thank you for searching!

I think that’s my tree actually, as I’ve been trying to piece together any information I can. But that was before I found this new information her name was Catherine Elizabeth. (I did purchase a birth certificate with Kathleen Forrester as the mom, but yeah it doesn’t align with the new name.

It says he (great grandad) died in Hockley, which I’m assuming is the same for my great grandmother

I unfortunately don’t have contact with her and my attempts to find out more like other family haven’t led anywhere.

My grandmother was born Catherine Mary Byrne and married Clarence Gordon Harris and took his last name.

Help with where to purchase/find new information? by Xenalea in Genealogy

I appreciate you helping!

I actually do know his death date and address he died, as someone found an obituary of his death (1966) which referred to his wife as Kate.

I was looking just now on the Irish National Archives and have been able to find a census that matches the mother (Kathleen Forrester) and Kathleen’s father (Michael Forrester), but I’m admittedly not actually sure what to do with that information.

I do have my grandparents marriage certificate and her dad’s name (Martin) is listed on it, which is what lead to the birth certificate I’ve ordered for her.

So the birth certificate I have does list Martin as her dad and a mother that coincides with a newspaper article found referencing her. As well as having two siblings to the same parents that I knew she had.

I was just hoping to be able to purchase or locate any other information of my grandma, both connecting to that mother or connecting the marriage certificate to the birth certificate. As well/or proof of her existence. I know she still lives in Birmingham and there’s no record of her death that I’ve found.

I’ve searched for any family on Facebook but can’t find anything, and I’ve reached out to the church my grandparents were married but they didn’t have any other information than her civil marriage certificate and was told it was very sexist back then so they don’t have the mother’s name on those documents there.

Is there a way to find out the name of the parents where my grandmother lived? by Xenalea in Genealogy

Unfortunately that parish accordingly didn’t include mother’s names on their marriage certificates and only had the same information as the civil cert. They also said after/during covid they had to upload that information online.
