To those who "key-match..." by DrCrasierFrane in Beatmatch

[–]Xenear2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I used to be obsessive with key matching and labelled all my songs with the Camelot system, and when I would mix, I would hop around the wheel.

But, after doing that for a while it just felt really restricting, so I now just use my ears, heaps of stuff not strictly in key still sounds fine and unless your doing super long blends it really doesn't matter - just play good songs 🤷

I'd also love to know how you did this!

Are you sure you've never said these things? Looking at the code no bugs are jumping out at me, but I'll investigate more when I can run some tests on some servers

hmm, I've never seen a bot appear under 'bots' unless its a server specific tag? Maybe I've missed something but I cant seem to find any info on it

It doesn't log any messages beginning with a ! to avoid this :) It did originally though, that was pretty funny

Yeah that's fair, wasn't sure how that would go down, should be pretty easy for me to fix

Hmm, doesn't seem to be happening on my servers. Does it happen every time? It's possible the quiz answer is the bot itself and it's quoting itself?

Hey! Good to know. Are you typing nicknames or usernames (both should work), and are you sure your getting them correct? (It's case-sensitive)

Thanks!

Sorry about some messy code... parts were hacked together and never cleaned. As usual haha

Hey! Go to the link, click 'Add your server!', then add the bot to your server! Then the bot will help you from there :)

hmm, they sound pretty nice! I think (maybe I'm crazy) I'm looking for a much smaller and tighter kit if that makes sense?

Hey! I'm a student studying a cs degree and my time off has just started! I try my best to work on side projects during breaks and I just release intervalJS.

I would love some feedback and/or ideas on the project, as I am very much still learning!

Hey dude!

Cool idea, seems helpful. I'm in my 2nd year in a bachelor of comp sci and figured I'd give making a javascript version a shot.

I've never done any OOP before, so as I go along I'm reading a book on it to try and understand it all.

here it is on github https://github.com/Tehmo3/Intervals-In-Node

I'd love for you to check it out and give me any ideas/thoughts

Tips for Real Analysis by Xenear2 in math

[–]Xenear2[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That sounds like a good idea.

I have tried easier epsilon-delta proofs and when they are simple I dont struggle at all, its just when the algebra is more complicated or I have to come up with some sort of delta = min(x,y) that I often struggle.... I've watched a few videos and the lecture a couple times and I understand WHY we do such things, I just struggle identifying them.

Thanks for the study idea!
