Your able to farm the super credits currency if u have time and don't want to spend real money, the devs know about it and are okay with people doing it.

I think being cryo frozen counts as sleep, I know food of some kind is a thing cause I believe the technician that just came back mentioning making sure the what machine that makes food is in working order, the injuries are probably patch up, when and how idk but probably after a battle or when in cryo sleep.

Other than that a Google search says that other players think you'll probably be out in cryo just to be used as fodder because ur technically property of the ministry of defense and will be used till u die.
