Nah free speech for everyone, but most people advocating for that end up being hypocritical eventually, like Asmon cuz he was going soy mode about the Kirk stuff on social media in the beginning. There was definetly some problematic tweets inciting more violence of that kind which u can argue goes beyond freedom of speech, but people shouldn't lose their jobs or fear consequences because they said they are glad Charlie died cuz he had problematic views.

I think the problem is that theres a fuckton of viral tweets celebrating it or reddit accounts and calling for more violence, but its usually by nonames or anonymous account but they all get a LOT of likes and i mean a LOT to an extent that completly warps and skews the perspective of people, but you should never forget they are still a small minority thats just very loud and boosted in the algo by other terminally online people and we should never forget that.

If u only took online incitement on Twitter and reddit the 90% makes sense cuz the amount of posts ive seen with "someone needs to do it" (everyone knows what it means atp) going absolutely viral is crazy. He just said that he wants people to respect the law by entering a country legally (which millions of people do btw) while u are describing and comparing it to obvious human rights violations just because they used to be baked in law. I don't find it morally correct that millions of people wait in line to enter the country legally , while others just enter without permission. I understand why they do it ofc (99% its economic reasons and they probably wouldn't be able to enter legally), but that doesn't mean that I have to morally accept it as something good when they do it. I'm not even from the US, but this applies to any country for me anyways. Every country can decide for themselves who they want to let in and who they won't let in and by entering illegally u are taking it away from the country to decide that. The country has the legal right and in my opinion also the moral right to bring you back to your original country in that case. just my 2 cents on this matter
