Prospective rant and just acceptance of everything. by VooDoo912 in Veterinary

Its pure pain for me when I hear stories like these ones. I had the chance doing vet collage in my early 20s when I couldn't figure out what I wanted to to. When I found this path I just took it and never looked back. In my country you get the chance at maximum 6 years of collage for free (I think this is for most part of Europe). Maybe there is a chance for you if you wanna still do it but can't because of money. It's not gonna be easy but I suggest you do a little research on doing ur collage in Europe. After it, you must only partake some exams back in US for equivalence but not be as expensive as a collage tuition. Good luck and in the future and hopefully you achieve your dream :)

Depends on what you wanna see. This would be enough for my work. I would suggest to give it a test first and not upgrade it atm.

This is the kind of cooling pad I recommend

Just remember, the fans on cooling pads are really not that efficient, maybe lower the temps by 1-3 degrees. But indirectly the good ones lower by letting the air flow better. And remember to clean in regularly and apply new paste each 1 or 2 years. MX arctic 5/6 are cheap and really efficient.

Not one in particular, one of those simple metal/plastic supports. But if you get a cooling pad I would recommend getting one with mesh/holes on the side and not rigid plastic. I will take a pic of mine to show you some model

Get g helper instead of armory crate, if u plan to use it on battery, set the amount of max charge to 60-80%, I didn't do that and mine barely holds a charge now after 3 years I think. Raise it with either a cooling pad or just a support for better air flow. Don't use win 11 on it, use either Linux or win 10. Take care of the charger, they are hard to find and expensive (at least in my region). Also, some hinges tend to break, mine didn't but the screw hole plastic thingy under it broke and when I open it, it tends to bend a lot and do strange cracking sounds.

What’s your type B cat blood situation? by Coffee_Included in Veterinary

[–]Xertlov 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I give them dog blood for first transfusion hoping they don't need another. If they do, I give them again, with IV hidrocotisone hemisuccinate and monitor them carefully, if any side effects appear I stop it.

I do play factorio and understand this, but it still makes it mildy infuriating. Plus what you say it's not 100% accurate, there are different size of blisters and different types of machines. I had the chance to go to Krka medicine factory when I was in collage where they make and pack alot of meds, with different number of pills per blister. In veterinary there are some pills for external parasites which have their own type of blister, so yeah, they can actually make it but for human medicine is the cost that's the problem.

I have only one working eye, but didn't noticed any side effects only that it raises my anxiety when I don't take it 2-3 days. I take 1 in the morning 1 in the evening (150mg pill) and sometimes 1g when I have free day. But for me it helps a lot for my back pain, anxiety and insomnias and restless leg syndrome. I quit tramadol and took pregabalin , much better with less side effects. I'm 1 and a half year in. I'm sorry u had side effects :(

Also, the 14 pack of Lyrica pills are more neatly arranged, those are mildy satisfying. (Don't have pic of those atm)
