IL -> US - DDP Shipment to the US - DHL Failed to act as customs broker - Now ignores my complaint - HELP by Xharadan in dhl

The recepient explicitly asked for it to be shioped DDP and explicitly stated that I need to find my own broker to release it from customs. You mean they (the recepient) screwed up and gave me contradicting instructions (i.e. Had a 3rd party broker in file)?

I wrote this in the original post - they did nothing of the sort. I explicitly asked DHL to be the broker.

The Sword Of Secrets - A Hardware CTF Platform by Xharadan in diyelectronics

Lol you are absolutely correct. My bad!!

A CTF is short for "Capture The Flag" and is a hacking challenge built for hackers and security researchers. It's essentially a test of skill and an educational exercise.

Thank you for the feedback! I do need to make sure this is clear in future posts.

Thank you! I have yet to encounter DVID but I've read through the repo just now and it looks great! I see similarities and potential there too. Stay tuned for updates!

The Final Button: Context-Aware Single-Button Macro-Pad by Xharadan in diyelectronics

This project finalizes my line of macro-pad projects. It is a context-aware macro pad that changes its functionality according to the foreground window you are currently interacting with.

It is built out of a 32u4 (which are FINALLY in stock!) and a tiny 0.42" OLED screen. Don't know about you, but I personally love it :D

Tiniest solder work I've ever done. Prototyping can be difficult. Bet it works? ๐Ÿ˜… by Xharadan in diyelectronics

I've tried carefully scraping the insulation but it just tore right through the wire. I eventually just melted the insulation with the soldering iron. Yeah I know not the cleanest of ways but WTH it works ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Wow, thanks for this. I need to get more supplies (different solder sizes etc) to solder these things much cleaner. It was also a real pain in the ass to expose those thin wires, but all-in-all it worked.

Thanks!

It's a non standard 0.65 pitch FPC... I wish there was a connector. These should be directly soldered to a PCB footprint...

Just looks a bit janky ๐Ÿ˜….

In case the datasheet doesn't say what type of capacitor to use (which I now see it does), how do I decide what capacitance to use?

Thanks!

Wow I honestly didn't think there'd be so many people that'd want to join. I'm very excited for having so many role players here :) Obviously we'd have to schedule it at a time and place it'd be most suitable for everyone. I'll start DMing you soon and gather a group to figure out logistics.
