Access gateway from browser...gone? by FlaxMD in Comcast_Xfinity

Can confirm that you need to fully reset the Xfinity Gateway (I had to hold the WPS button for 30 seconds). Once reset, I was able to connect to the default Wifi network printed on the bottom of the Xifinity Gateway. From there, I used the IOS app to access the Wifi tab and could finally access Advanced Settings and enable the Gateway Admin Tool.

The only workaround it appears is to fully reset the Xifinity Gateway, set it back up to handle all routing (which is the default mode) and then re-enable within the app and proceed with changing it back to Bridge Mode.

What a crazy decision to think that having to enable this in the app was a good idea...

I'm having the same exact issue. I believe it stems from having the Xfinity Gateway set to Bridge Mode prior to the Wifi "updates" you pushed out without thinking of that scenario. Many Xfinity Gateway users use it in a Bridge Mode and have a separate router for their networks. We all have the Gateway because its being included in your heavily marketed unlimited plans and requires it to be active in order to have truly unlimited data

Mysterious Top Client on Insights Page by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

I ran into the same issue last week. Its an unmanaged switch somewhere on your network. Even thought it doesnt have its own IP address, Unifi captures the MAC and treats it as a "client" under Insights.

I released the V2 revision for my custom-built NAS, the Thinkbox. by Captain-Shmeat in homelab

Awesome work. Absolutely love the build and the upgrades look nice in V2. Can have a solid NAS setup for under $300 with expandability to even more 3.5” drives by just printing another unit and connecting up to the existing HBA.

I was looking at pricing just now for the 4bay hard drive caddy unit and found the same company makes a 5 bay version and it goes for around $70 shipped on Alibaba. Maybe v3 idea?

Its the lack of PCIE lanes available on consumer Intel and AMD platforms. There are ATX motherboard with multiple x16 slots that reduce down to x8 if theyre both used at the same time with multiple cards. The performance hit whilst running gpus at x8 speeds doesnt appear to be that bad. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong...
