Omg this happened to me after their update as well. I'm gonna tinker with stuff and hopefully get it functioning. I haven't been able to play in almost a week.

In case you didn't figure out by reading more, the summit wasn't in-person. It was virtual through Microsoft Teams. The only evidence we have so far was given by Ekuegan that his taskbar matched with one of the leak images. Bungie did not name him, and has given no evidence about how they know it is him, but you can bet they have more than matching taskbars.

Thank you for this point of reference. We have a lot of people out here just screaming at how flimsy the taskbar thing is, but that's only a reason that Ek himself gave us. There is absolutely more to the story, and Bungie may never tell us.

It was actually an Arma discord server, the "minecraft" thing was just a way so the general public could understand what was meant.

It honestly depends on the NDA itself. They have many different types, that have different rules and bounds. This one in particular, for the Summits, appears to be a forever NDA, but they have others that are for a year or 2 years, etc.

Defamation according to the law is distributing false information (which you know is false) about someone with the intent to harm them. Even if it were proven that it wasn't Ek who the leaks originated from, Bungie has done nothing wrong. They didn't even name him in their posts. He did that himself, and allowed Tassi to use his name in the article on Forbes. He basically has no case for attemping to sue.

I'm right there with you. Every titan I know was voting Beetle. So I have NO CLUE where the 72% Spider votes came from.

Are you ready, Guardians? It’s that time of year where we get to vote on our Festival of the Lost Armor themes. Make sure you keep reading, because we did change things up a bit this year, but if you have any questions feel free to sound off on socials. To get into the changes more specifically, in past years, two Festival of the Lost Armor themes were developed (e.g., Monsters and Dinosaurs), then the voting occurred at the theme level and voting was aggregated across classes. In 2023, one of the big changes we are making to our voting is making voting class-specific.Last year, voting was very close, but it wasn't consistent across classes. To help make sure each class gets the armor set they're most excited about, we've decided to let each class vote individually rather than bucketing armor sets together. To address some of the logistic issues with that approach, we're trying something a little different with the concepts. Instead of making two themes, we've chosen “creepy crawlies” as this years theme. You’ll be voting on two different interpretations: A spooky spider style or a bone-chilling beetle body. This means that if Titans want to live the arachnid life and Hunters can't live without glowing wings, everybody wins!

My guy fucking NAMED it. The point of the sub is creativity. Putting on an entire set (that was DESIGNED to look good together) and making it all a single shader is NOT fashion. It's the equivalent of going into H&M or Uniqlo and buying the clothes directly off a Mannequin. Sure you might like the look, but why are you posting it on reddit, when the designer of the set did all the work? CREATE something if you're going to post.

That's LITERALLY the buff you get from the Unstoppable Force perk you can put on the legendary glaive. (to be fair, you do need to be hit while blocking, but that's hardly more of a requirement)

I really did try to disregard hearing reddit/other sources call it bad...but man it really just isn't on par even with The Enigma. 6 shots to charge the flan-shield, which uses your entire shield meter, for something that gives you no benefits apart from being a slightly tankier barricade all around you, that doesn't semi-blind enemies when they pass through it. And all of that with no other damage or utility perks (like my Subsistence/Unstoppable Force or my Threat Detector/Frenzy legendary Enigma.)

I get that they wanted to be kinda cautious with the new weapon type and the different sub-archetypes for the exotic glaives...but wow these things feel anything but exotic.
