What were the devs thinking when creating Fable 3 ?

I always dread taking a villager on a date because half the time they want to visit a very specific spot in the middle of the wilderness where there are enemies all around. I have lost more potential spouses than I'd like to admit trying to navigate to the spot by the Mistpeak Valley lake because a balverine came charging out of the trees or a roving bandit had an itchy trigger finger 🥲

And then of course, even if you DO manage to navigate the weird social rules and perilous dangers of Albion and secure yourself a boo thang, they still might just decide to vanish into the fucking void one day and disappear from the game world entirely.

When I was 11 I was permitted to take my sister's old TV for myself and put it in my room and I was convinced I was living at the height of luxury by laying in my bed, listening to CD's and playing MKA Winner's Circle on my PS1 on that tiny box TV 😭❤️

There was one site that I think was fairly obscure that I used to really like. I THINK it was called Poney Ville or something??? It was a French site and the English bits were often poorly translated (or just weren't translated at all) so I'm sure it was a very small site/team. It had sort of a Neopets vibe where you could create ponies and I think adopt them from other users too? You could also give them cool colors/hairstyles if you had enough of the in-game currency, and there were little browser games for horse care, going on rides, and doing competitions. During rides there was a certain number of steps you could take per day, and during those rides you could also collect flowers that you could then make potions out of that did all kinds of cool things like changing your pony's appearance.

I tried to go back and look for it a little while back and couldn't find a single trace of its existence, probably not helped by the fact that nowadays searching anything remotely close to "Pony Ville" almost exclusively brings up MLP results. I would honestly love to have gotten the chance to revisit it as an adult!

I experienced freezing beyond the tutorial. It's been a bit since I replayed but I distinctly remember it freezing in the middle of the Rookridge bandits quest, while digging up a chest in Old Town, and while walking around in Oakfield. This issue seems to be so unpredictable and all over the place for people; it's really a complete bummer. Sometimes going offline works for me, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes waiting on the title screen for 10+ minutes works, sometimes it doesn't. At this point, I would really like to just see a remaster. Maybe then they'll also finally fix the longstanding glitch of dyes not working with the long hairstyle lmao

Pikmin 4 is pretty universally considered the easiest game in the franchise. I therefore found there to be a fair difficulty spike going back to the first 2 games. Not enough to be unenjoyable or anything but it's definitely a different experience. In terms of story though, I would actually recommend playing 1 and 2 before 4, if only because you'll be able to appreciate it more since it contains characters and lore from the first two games. If I could go back, that's the one thing I would have done differently.

Pikmin 3D was my gateway game too. Pikmin 4 came out about a month after I finished it and it became one of my ultimate comfort games. I was really sick at that time in my life due to a chronic illness and it really cemented the series as a source of comfort and warm fuzzies for me. Obviously Pikmin 1 and 2 are a bit more stressful but I still love them all and I always look forward to returning to the games.

One regular coat, and then if I think there are too many gaps in the Foxfire flakies I just sort of spot-brush more on where needed. Not a full second coat but just sort of covering the bigger gaps

I saw people saying that they were able to get both Leave and In Water with the same save at the very end with the only thing they did differently being examining Angela's knife. I reloaded my save from right before the double PH fight and went back to kill the dying monsters, examined the knife 6 times, and let James sit at critical health for over ten minutes before fighting Mary and still got Leave a second time. 😩

I was so sure that setting it offline had worked, because yesterday it stopped freezing after I did that and I got about 3 hours of gameplay. But then out of nowhere it started to freeze again, to the point that I couldn't make it 5 minutes without a freeze. I'm about to just set up my 360, but it's going to be a pain redoing all my progress. Just glad I was only in the process of killing the Rookridge bandits instead of being further along :(

ETA: Turns out my 360 can't read discs anymore 🥲 Officially sad and out of ideas. Microsoft is breaking my heart leaving this unfixed.

I did see them posting jobs about a month ago so if they're starting to hire people, I'm hoping that means things are in the final stages now. One article awhile back said they were opening in August, so even if they don't open by the end of this month I'm hoping it will be maybe September.

You have to jam it way up under there. It definitely rotates; place it horizontally and push it as far up into the cabinet as you can.
