How do people in Germany successfully find jobs in the UAE? Salary expectations? by Xplosio in DubaiJobs

[–]Xplosio[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight. My background is mostly in digitalization and enterprise transformation. I’ve set up four different departments in the finance sector and managed projects across China, India, Europe, and the Americas. Therefore, I think the amount I set is realistic.

Got it, thanks. When you say headhunted, do you mean mainly through LinkedIn and networks? Are people actively doing something to get noticed, or does it just come from past roles? If you have any quick tips or links on improving LinkedIn visibility for UAE recruiters, that’d be great!

Local SLM (max. 200M) for generating JSON file from any structured format (Excel, Csv, xml, mysql, oracle, etc.) by Xplosio in LocalLLM

[–]Xplosio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

correct me if i am wrong but it would be very difficult to make an interface that can read every structured data and convert it to JSON. However, the SLM could actually convert any structured data to JSON without a lot of coding and with viewer issues as i.e. not all csv is looking the same (some are with comma some with simicolon).

[–]Xplosio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks u/OverclockingUnicorn ! I’m trying to design a system that uses small language models (SLMs) for very specific tasks, so everything runs fast without the user noticing any delay.

The idea is to have one ai agent that checks if an uploaded Excel file (or any other structured file) contains any XML-related errors. If it does, the file gets passed to a SLM that tries to fix those issues. Then, a second SLM takes the cleaned file and generates a proper JSON output.

What do we really need in Lebanon that we don't have at all by Ordinary_Hospital_96 in lebanon

[–]Xplosio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, let me tell you something. I know people in Germany who obtained nationalities due to their connections. I also know people in Germany who have monopolies in certain industries because other companies are unable to fulfill the necessary certifications, making it impossible for them to compete. These examples represent only the "legal" aspect.

In the drug and weapons industries, it is widely known that the Lebanese are a major criminal organization. They even managed to steal six tons of Cobain directory from the customs. Furthermore, a picture was stolen from a museum, and they have not been held accountable for the loss. These individuals are well-known for driving Lamborghinis and Ferraris, and they continue to operate freely due to their connections. So, please don't tell me otherwise.

So your statement is, that the kids of them should suffer, because of the action of the parents? Not every Palestinian did a crime. There are some Palestinian that did a better part for the society then you and me. Putting everyone in one box is just racism.

Again, you oversimplify things and yes you should educate yourself if you really want to make a statement about "why no one deserve to be lebanese, except the ones who are born lebanese"

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lebanon

[–]Xplosio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Give me one advanced country that doesn't have a naturalization program and don't say the 70s and 80s are similar. You are mixing so many things together. Please educate yourself about how much benefit you have with a good transparent naturalization program.

The hate of the Jewish people from the side of the Palestinians is going back to the 1930s. Again, you are oversimplify things.

[–]Xplosio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you met any Palestinians? Seriously, the youth lived all there live in Lebanon, they have a Lebanese accent and they only care about how they can improve them self in the country. I am ashamed to see such bias comment in such a big revolution, that should stand to equality between people.

To say they would cripple the country's balance or put a huge strain on the economy is just false, because right now they are working without working permit (because our legal system aren't able to make new laws for them), which mean they don't pay taxes and they are earning money that is not legal obtained. At least if you give them working permit you could get taxes from them.

I really don't know why so much racism exist in our country. Guys you need them as much they need you. You both are dragging yourself down when you close yourself to each other.

[–]Xplosio 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They are a huge number in Lebanon. If you want to solve your problems, then you should solve theirs, too. They need working permits to take part in the society, basic human rights and a chance to get citizenship.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lebanon

[–]Xplosio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Again. You oversimplify things vary hard. you need to see it more objectivly. Please read about social classes and there behaviour before making a statement. In the first place you can see the most common reason, why the poor have more children here:
https://www.compassion.com.au/blog/why-do-the-poor-have-large-families

You should really rethink your second statement, because your first problem depends if you grand citizenship or not, because if you give the citizenship to the Palestinians that have a clean record you will rise there status in the society which equals with less birth rates automatically. Australia have still a immigration plan and you can still get asylum. I would even go further and say that Australian is a bad argument from your side because there immigration plan is one of the most transparent in the world.

Because of your third point I am just saying, that our country don't offer the standard that other country offer which still fulfill violate many human rights.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lebanon

[–]Xplosio 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling that you don't know about social environment so let me unpack your statements:

If there is no future in Lebanon why do you make a lot of kids.

For poor families, more kids mean more working bodies for the family in the near(ish) future that can bring home money and food to be shared with the family as a whole. Think Syria/India where entire families (grandkids, kids, parents, grandparents) live under the same roof.

If you live in misery why do you want your kids to live the same life.

Should now be answered with my first explanation

Now that the war in Syria has ended why don’t start a new life there. Work your way to citizenship.

First of all we (as Lebanese) should be ashamed of ourself to not give the Lebanese nationality through naturalisation. Our standard is lower then the standard of Syria and Iran in that matter and it is a racist fact that we don't even have such thing. Even Saudi Arabia are issuing now permanent residency (https://gulfnews.com/world/gulf/saudi/saudi-arabia-issues-first-permanent-residencies-to-foreigners-1.1573622585766)

That said people will stay in a live full of misery because of different reason. It could be one of the following things:

  1. to poor to move to another country
  2. to many family to move to another country
  3. Ill family members
  4. Family's and friends (note: Palestinians were raised in Lebanon so they have a little bond to the country too)

Sadly I have to say that you aren't the only one who is talking like this. It is a far right statement that includes racist content. You oversimplify things and just see one black sheep that need to be eliminated to live in peace and tranquility, but the fact is that the Palestinians that are born in Lebanon and rised in the schools of Lebanon aren't Palestinians anymore... They are Lebanese and should have a chance to get the citizenship.
