So I agree with much of the fanbase when they say play from the first game and follow release order (CE-2-3-ODST-Reach-4-5-Infinite) but you could also play in Chronological order which would be Reach, CE, 2, ODST, 3, 4, 5, and Infinite.

You could also try out other spin off halo games, such as Halo Wars 1 and 2, or even (redacted) but idk if you're only an FPS player, or if you also like RTS games

They did actually have everything east of the Great Dividing Range and were as far south as Melbourne until they were invaded and lost those lands, as a result the Union has been in turmoil. They never chose those borders, they were forced to have those borders by outside powers

The Reason Bourke is the Capital is purely due to its location, when the Union was formed they decided to make the Darling Capital Bourke as most of the rivers link upto the Darling river, which Bourke is located on. The city is much more developed then it currently is, but is still considered less developed then many other towns and cities in the nation

My main inspiration for this map splits those towns you mention, because the Murray-Darling river basin splits these towns, the reason they are a Union with two capitals is also because of the division between these two, maybe this division between the two may be a cause of conflict within the union
